P2000 | Corticera (Field-Tested)
The P2000 | Corticera (Field-Tested) pairs the natural green, corticera-tree finish with a Classified pistol rarity, here at the most worn grade this skin reaches. It's the budget-friendly way to own the design without paying for the top float grades.
Design
Green is the whole story on this finish: a natural, camouflage-leaning tone worked into a corticera tree motif across the slide and grip. Valve designed it, and there's no flavor text attached to round out the theme.
P2000 | Corticera (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested sits at the top of this finish's wear range, since the Corticera is float-capped at 0.30 — well short of the 1.0 a skin needs to reach Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred. That means even the roughest available copy still shows only moderate wear, with the green base and tree pattern staying clearly visible rather than turning ragged.
P2000 | Corticera Rarity
Rarity-wise this is a Classified pistol skin, the pink grade one step below Covert and among the rarer tiers a case can produce.
P2000 | Corticera Case and Collection
It's part of The eSports 2014 Summer Collection and originally dropped from the eSports 2014 Summer Case, both from July 2014. The Classified tier as a whole pulls at roughly 3.2% from that case, a rate that applies across the tier rather than to this single skin.
P2000 | Corticera Patterns
No paint-seed variation exists on the Corticera — the corticera tree artwork sits in a fixed spot on every copy no matter the seed. Float and wear grade are the only real differences between one unit and the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Both a regular and a StatTrak edition of this finish exist, the StatTrak version adding a kill counter that permanently sticks with the weapon once it starts tracking. A Souvenir version has never existed, because Souvenir weapons are only issued through Major-tournament packages and this finish has never been part of one.
P2000 | Corticera Price
Field-Tested is the most affordable grade on the Corticera's ladder, sitting below both Minimal Wear and Factory New, even though the finish as a whole still trades in high-end, grail-tier territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Field-Tested a big step down in looks from Minimal Wear?
Not dramatically. Because the Corticera's float never climbs past 0.30, Field-Tested copies stay far milder than a typical full-range skin at the same grade — the green tone and tree motif remain easy to read, just with a bit more visible surface wear.
Why can't I find a Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred Corticera?
The finish's float is capped at 0.30, and Well-Worn only starts at 0.38 with Battle-Scarred further out still. The Corticera simply never rolls high enough to reach those grades, so Field-Tested is as worn as it gets.
Which gloves pair well with the Corticera?
Stick with the green, natural palette — olive or forest-green gloves echo the tree motif directly, while tan or brown pairs lean into the woodland feel without fighting the finish's colors.
