P2000 | Scorpion (Factory New)

P2000 | Scorpion (Factory New)

The P2000 | Scorpion (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin with anodized rippled-fade paint and a red scorpion decal on the grip. Factory New is the cleanest grade this high-end finish comes in, and one of only two wear grades the Scorpion ever appears in.

Design

The Scorpion uses anodized-effect paints laid out in a rippled fade pattern across the frame and slide, finished off with a red scorpion decal on the grip. Valve is confirmed as the finish's designer, and the look leans on that fade-and-decal combination rather than any painted scenery.

P2000 | Scorpion (Factory New) Float and Wear

The Scorpion's float only reaches 0.08 at its worst, well below the threshold needed for a Field-Tested grade, which is why only Factory New and Minimal Wear exist for this finish at all. At Factory New, right at the bottom of that tiny range, the rippled fade and red decal look essentially flawless.

P2000 | Scorpion Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — one step above Mil-Spec and a genuinely uncommon grade to come across.

P2000 | Scorpion Case and Collection

The Scorpion is part of The Dust Collection, released with the Arms Deal update back in August 2013. It isn't tied to a specific weapon case, so copies circulate through the collection's own supply rather than a case drop pool.

P2000 | Scorpion Patterns

This is a fixed design — the paint-seed index doesn't change how the rippled fade or the scorpion decal look, so every copy is identical in pattern. Only the (very narrow) float range separates one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

The Scorpion exists as a regular finish only, with no StatTrak version and no Souvenir edition. Souvenir status comes exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and this finish — dating back to 2013 — was never distributed in one.

P2000 | Scorpion Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Scorpion's price ladder, and the finish as a whole ranks among the high-end, grail-tier P2000 skins. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Why does the Scorpion only come in Factory New and Minimal Wear?

Its float is capped at just 0.08, far below the 0.15 threshold needed for a Field-Tested grade. That narrow range means Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred simply can't exist for this finish.

How old is the P2000 | Scorpion?

It dates back to August 2013, released with the Arms Deal update as part of The Dust Collection — one of the older finishes on the P2000.

Is the Scorpion a valuable skin?

Yes. It ranks among the high-end, grail-tier finishes for the P2000, making it one of the pricier options in the model's lineup despite its Restricted rather than Covert rarity.
