P250 | Hive (Factory New)
The P250 | Hive (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin built around a hexagon-patterned hydrographic finish. Factory New is the top of its ladder, so this is the sharpest the hex pattern ever looks.
Design
The Hive wraps the P250 in a hexagon-patterned hydrographic coat, a geometric, honeycomb-style texture rather than a painted graphic. It's a Valve-made finish, built into the base game rather than a community submission.
P250 | Hive (Factory New) Float and Wear
Float on the Hive runs from 0.00 to 0.30, so it never reaches the mid or heavy wear bands that other skins can hit. At Factory New the hexagon texture sits crisp and evenly toned across the frame and slide, with essentially no visible scuffing. Because the whole finish is capped this low, even its most worn copies stay a lot tidier than a full-range skin.
P250 | Hive Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — the entry grade of the standard weapon rarities and the most common one to see drop from a case.
P250 | Hive Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Arms Deal 2 Collection and comes from the CS:GO Weapon Case 2, which arrived with The Arms Deal 2 update back in November 2013. Mil-Spec Grade skins as a group pull at roughly 79.92% from the case (a rate shared across the tier), and with that case long out of active drop pools, most copies today change hands on the market instead of getting unboxed.
P250 | Hive Patterns
The Hive has a fixed design — the hexagon hydrographic sits the same way on every copy, so there's no paint-seed index or "blue gem" pattern worth hunting. Wear and float are the only things separating one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish exists as a regular finish and a StatTrak version, the latter tracking confirmed kills with a permanent counter that carries through trades and sales. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never offered in one.
P250 | Hive Price
Factory New sits at the top of the Hive's own price ladder, the priciest of its three grades while still landing in affordable mid-tier territory overall — a budget-friendly way to run a fully game-native finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the P250 Hive worth buying at Factory New?
If you want the hexagon texture at its sharpest, yes — Factory New shows the pattern with the most even tone and no visible scuffing. Since the whole finish is affordable mid-tier to begin with, paying up for the top grade here doesn't cost much more than Minimal Wear or Field-Tested.
Why doesn't the P250 Hive have a Battle-Scarred version?
Its float is capped between 0.00 and 0.30, a range that never reaches the higher wear bands Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred need. That's also why even its roughest available grade, Field-Tested, still looks tidier than a full-range skin at that wear level.
Does the P250 Hive have random patterns to look for?
No. The hexagon hydrographic is a fixed design that lands identically on every copy, so there's no paint-seed number or standout "blue gem" version to chase. Float and wear are the only variables that change how a given copy looks.
