P250 | X-Ray (Field-Tested)

P250 | X-Ray (Field-Tested)

The P250 | X-Ray (Field-Tested) brings the same cyan internal-scan design to the most affordable grade in the finish's range. It's the easiest entry point for this budget-tier Restricted pistol skin.

Design

This is a custom paint job that shows the P250's internals through an X-Ray-style effect, done up in a bright cyan that gives it a distinct, almost clinical sci-fi look. Valve's design skips traditional camo or decals entirely in favor of this scan-line concept.

P250 | X-Ray (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested falls in the middle-to-upper part of the finish's 0.00–0.30 float range. The cyan detailing stays reasonably legible at this grade, though the surface picks up a bit more softening than the cleaner wears — still readable, just not as crisp as Minimal Wear or Factory New.

P250 | X-Ray Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier sitting one notch below Classified. It's a step up from the everyday Mil-Spec grades without being one of the rarer pulls in the game.

P250 | X-Ray Case and Collection

Tied to The X-Ray Collection from the September 2019 X-Ray Scanner update, this finish doesn't come from a weapon case, so there's no case-odds figure attached to it. Copies are obtained through the collection or, more typically now, purchased directly on the market.

P250 | X-Ray Patterns

The internal-scan artwork is fixed across every copy of this finish — the paint-seed index plays no role in how it looks. There's no blue-gem or rare-pattern angle here; only condition and float separate one X-Ray from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish exists in its regular form only, with no StatTrak version and no Souvenir version ever produced. Souvenir status requires distribution through a Major-tournament package, which this finish has never received.

P250 | X-Ray Price

Field-Tested is the cheapest grade of the X-Ray, sitting at the very bottom of an already budget-friendly finish. It's about as low-cost as this design gets while still delivering the full cyan scan look. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested look noticeably worse than Minimal Wear?

There's a visible step down in sharpness, but the cyan scan design remains easy to identify at this grade. If you're not picky about small detail loss, Field-Tested delivers essentially the same overall look for less money.

Is this the cheapest way to own the X-Ray?

Yes, Field-Tested sits at the bottom of the finish's price ladder among its available wears, making it the most budget-friendly option for players who just want the design in their loadout.

Why doesn't the X-Ray have a StatTrak or Souvenir version?

Both are simply absent from this finish's release history — no StatTrak variant was ever produced, and Souvenir status only applies to finishes handed out through Major-tournament packages, which the X-Ray never was.
