PP-Bizon | Brass (Well-Worn)
Well-Worn shows heavy oxidation on the PP-Bizon | Brass, a Mil-Spec SMG finish built from brass-plated weapon parts. The metal looks properly tarnished at this grade, and the price drops accordingly.
Design
Brass replaces parts of the weapon with actual brass plating rather than a painted pattern, a straightforward design credited to Valve. The flavor line "Fool's gold" nods to its shiny but not-quite-precious appearance.
PP-Bizon | Brass (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Brass floats across the entire 0.00 to 1.00 range with no cap, so Well-Worn here reaches genuinely heavy oxidation — noticeably more tarnished than most other Bizon finishes get at comparable wear, since those finishes' floats stop well short of 1.00.
PP-Bizon | Brass Rarity
Brass is Mil-Spec Grade, sitting just above Consumer Grade — a common rarity tier rather than a scarce one.
PP-Bizon | Brass Case and Collection
It's part of The Dust 2 Collection, tied to the "Out with the old, in with the new" update from November 2013. No weapon case exists for it, and it drops at a high roughly 80 percent rate within its collection tier.
PP-Bizon | Brass Patterns
Seed does play a role on Brass — the patina texture shifts somewhat from copy to copy, so even among Well-Worn units, some show a slightly less tarnished brass surface than others.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak version of Brass has ever been made. A Souvenir edition is available, first appearing in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and continuing through many later Major packages — a separate line from the standard finish here.
PP-Bizon | Brass Price
Well-Worn is one of the more affordable grades on the Brass price ladder, priced below Field-Tested thanks to the heavier oxidation. It's still a premium finish overall, just at a friendlier entry point. Buy it on Skin.Land with secure, instant delivery.
FAQ
How tarnished does Well-Worn brass actually look?
Quite tarnished — since the finish floats across the full 0.00–1.00 range with no cap, Well-Worn here shows real oxidation, more so than Bizon finishes whose float ranges stop short of the maximum.
Is Battle-Scarred cheaper than Well-Worn on the Brass?
Yes, typically, since it sits at the very top of the finish's uncapped float range and represents the most heavily worn, least expensive grade available.
Does seed matter for a Well-Worn Brass?
A little — the patina texture isn't identical across every copy, so some Well-Worn units may look marginally cleaner or more tarnished than others depending on seed, even without a formal rare-pattern tier.
