The SCAR-20 | Cardiac (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified autosniper skin with an orange-and-blue design, shown here in its most weathered condition. It's the cheapest entry to a grail-tier finish, trading surface quality for the lowest price.
Design
Cardiac keeps the focus on color: a heat-wrapped orange-and-blue vinyl across the SCAR-20, letting the warm-versus-cool contrast carry the whole look. The finish is a community design from the artist Nextgenz, and it ships with a flatline of an in-game line: "beep. beep. beeeeeeeeeeeep..."
SCAR-20 | Cardiac (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish covers the complete 0.00–1.00 float range, so Battle-Scarred copies can climb to the top of the scale — this is as worn as Cardiac gets. Heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the orange-and-blue print is noticeably dulled, though both colors still read. For players who want the design for as little as possible, this is the entry point.
SCAR-20 | Cardiac Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, sitting directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox, and that scarcity is a big part of why the finish sits high-end.
SCAR-20 | Cardiac Case and Collection
Belonging to The Vanguard Collection, Cardiac is unboxed from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, which came out with Operation Vanguard in November 2014. The Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and since the case is out of the active drop pool, the market carries most copies today.
SCAR-20 | Cardiac Patterns
The orange-and-blue print is fixed on every copy, so paint seed plays no role — the same layout appears in the same place each time, with no rare placement or blue gem in the mix. Wear and float are the sole differences from one Battle-Scarred copy to the next.

Is the Battle-Scarred Cardiac still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and dulled color, the orange-and-blue print still reads as Cardiac at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price on a grail-tier finish — the design's identity survives even at its roughest grade.
Why choose Battle-Scarred over cleaner grades?

Does float or pattern drive the price at this grade?
