SSG 08 | Zeno (Factory New)
The SSG 08 | Zeno dresses the bolt-action scout rifle in a grayscale metallic flake paint job broken up by sharp red diamond accents. Factory New is the grade to grab if you want that flake finish looking its brightest and most even, right out of the gate.
Design
Valve put this one together, wrapping the SSG 08 in a custom grayscale metallic flake coat and scattering red diamond shapes across the shell for contrast. It's a modern, almost tactical look rather than anything flashy, and the metallic flake gives it a bit of shimmer under different lighting.
SSG 08 | Zeno (Factory New) Float and Wear
Float on this finish runs from 0.00 up to 0.70, so Factory New sits right at the bottom of that range. At this stage the flake paint reads crisp and the red diamonds stay well-defined, with none of the edge chipping or fading that starts creeping in a couple grades down.
SSG 08 | Zeno Rarity
Zeno carries a Mil-Spec Grade classification, putting it in the entry tier of skin rarity rather than among the rarer covert or classified finishes. That's typical for a rifle skin drawn from a modern collection rather than a limited case line.
SSG 08 | Zeno Case and Collection
This finish comes out of The Sport & Field Collection, which debuted alongside The Armory update in October 2024. There's no case tied to it — copies come from the collection drop itself rather than a crate you'd open for a shot at it.
SSG 08 | Zeno Patterns
The paint job here is fixed, meaning the pattern index behind each copy doesn't change how it looks. Every SSG 08 | Zeno wears the same grayscale flake and red diamond layout, so float and wear are the only things separating one copy from the next — there's no seed to hunt for a "best" look.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Zeno exists as a regular finish only. There's no StatTrak version tracking kills, and no Souvenir version either — Souvenir copies only ever come bundled into Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been part of one.
SSG 08 | Zeno Price
Zeno sits in the budget tier overall, and Factory New is the priciest grade on its own ladder simply because it's the cleanest available copy. Even at the top of the range it stays an easy, low-cost pickup. Skin.Land carries this finish across its available wears, so grabbing a Factory New copy is straightforward.
FAQ
What are the best gloves for the SSG 08 | Zeno?
Since Zeno leans on gray metallic flake with red diamond accents, gloves in a slate, charcoal, or gunmetal shade tend to match cleanest, with a red-toned piece to echo those diamond hits. That gray-plus-red pairing is generally the best SSG 08 Zeno glove combo if you're building a coordinated loadout around this rifle.
Is Factory New worth it on the SSG 08 | Zeno?
Since Zeno sits in the budget tier, Factory New only costs a bit more than the lower grades, so yes, it's an easy call if you want the flake paint and diamond accents looking their sharpest. You're not paying a steep premium for the cleanest copy here the way you would on a pricier skin.
How rare is the SSG 08 | Zeno?
Zeno is Mil-Spec Grade, the most common rarity tier in CS2, so it's not a rare pickup by classification. It comes from The Sport & Field Collection rather than a case, and with no StatTrak or Souvenir versions in play, supply is straightforward and steady.
