Tec-9 | Fubar (Minimal Wear)

Tec-9 | Fubar (Minimal Wear)

The Tec-9 | Fubar (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a scorched muzzle set against a military-themed body. Since the finish never drops in Factory New, Minimal Wear is the cleanest grade it comes in.

Design

The Fubar gives the Tec-9 a military-themed look with a muzzle that's visibly scorched from use, a rougher, battle-worn identity built right into the design itself. Community artist Marduk created the finish, which carries the flavor line "You call it used, we call it well-loved" — a wink at its intentionally lived-in look.

Tec-9 | Fubar (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

The Fubar is float-capped at a minimum of 0.14, so no Factory New exists and Minimal Wear is the top available grade. Even at this cleanest level, the scorched-muzzle detail is baked into the design itself, though the surrounding body still shows the least additional wear the finish ever offers.

Tec-9 | Fubar Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the game's blue tier — the common end of the collectible weapon grades, though still a distinct finish rather than a default skin.

Tec-9 | Fubar Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Danger Zone Collection and drops from the Danger Zone Case, released with the Danger Zone update in December 2018. Mil-Spec skins as a tier account for roughly 79.92% of that case's pulls, making the Fubar a fairly common find among its drops.

Tec-9 | Fubar Patterns

The Fubar has no random pattern variation — the scorched-muzzle design sits the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for here. Wear and float are the only things separating one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Fubar exists alongside the regular finish, adding a permanent confirmed-kill counter that carries through any trade or sale. There's no Souvenir Fubar, since Souvenir weapons only ever come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been part of one.

Tec-9 | Fubar Price

Minimal Wear sits at the top of the Fubar's price ladder as the highest grade available, and overall the finish falls into affordable mid-tier territory among Tec-9 skins. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Why is there no Factory New Tec-9 | Fubar?

The finish is float-capped at a minimum of 0.14, and the game never rolls a copy below that. Since Factory New requires a float under 0.07, it simply can't exist for this skin — Minimal Wear is the highest grade the Fubar reaches.

Is Minimal Wear worth buying for the Fubar?

It's the cleanest grade this finish comes in, so if you want the least additional wear on top of the built-in scorched-muzzle look, this is the one to get. Given the skin's affordable mid-tier pricing, the step up from Field-Tested isn't a huge cost either way.

When did the Tec-9 | Fubar come out?

It launched with the Danger Zone update in December 2018, as part of The Danger Zone Collection. That makes it one of the older Tec-9 finishes still traded on the market today.
