Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Battle-Scarred)

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Battle-Scarred)

The Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Battle-Scarred) shows the heaviest wear the skin reaches, with the green hazard spray scuffed and faded across the body. It's the cheapest entry point into a finish that otherwise sits at the top of the Tec-9 price ladder.

Design

Radiological hazard markings over a green base make up the whole design, a plain, warning-sign style that Valve kept free of extra graphics. As a Valve finish, it has no separate community-artist credit.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred runs from about 0.45 up to the finish's hard cap of 0.80, out of its overall 0.06–0.80 float range. Because that cap sits below the usual 1.00 ceiling, even the roughest copies of the Nuclear Threat stay a notch milder than a fully worn skin would — heavy scuffing and paint loss, but not the absolute worst a float scale allows. The hazard markings remain identifiable despite the damage.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Rarity

Rarity here is Restricted, third from the top of the standard weapon grades and one step under Classified. It's an uncommon tier, though not the game's scarcest.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Nuke Collection, which came out with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. About 16% of drops from the collection land on the Restricted tier, and given how old the collection is, the market has become the main source of copies rather than fresh drops.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Patterns

Because the hazard-sign artwork is identical on every copy, the Nuclear Threat has no pattern or paint-seed variation to speak of — no "blue gem" chase here. Only float and wear tell copies apart.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak version of this finish exists. There is a Souvenir edition, though, first handed out in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package with additional Major souvenir packages following it over time. The copy on offer here is the regular, non-Souvenir skin.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way to own the Nuclear Threat, sitting at the bottom of an otherwise high-end, grail-tier price ladder. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Nuclear Threat still recognizable?

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing and faded paint, the green hazard markings stay identifiable at a glance. Battle-Scarred trades surface condition for the lowest price, not the design itself.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely destroyed?

Because the Nuclear Threat's float caps at 0.80 instead of the full 1.00, its worst copies never reach the most extreme wear the game allows. It ends up a step milder than a fully worn skin at the same grade.

Is Battle-Scarred the best entry point for this skin?

If budget is the priority, yes. It's the cheapest way to own a grail-tier Nuclear Threat, though Well-Worn and Field-Tested offer noticeably cleaner looks for a moderate step up in price.
