Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested)

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested)

The Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested) still shows the full radiological hazard spray in bold green tones, now with a fair bit more honest wear. It's the mid-point of the ladder, a recognizable copy of the design for less than the top two grades.

Design

Green-toned hazard markings cover the body in a design Valve kept deliberately plain — a warning-sign motif rather than anything ornate. There's no outside artist credit here since it's a Valve-made finish.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested runs from roughly 0.15 to 0.38 within the skin's 0.06–0.80 range, and at this level the hazard artwork starts showing visible scuffing and a few scratches across the body. It's still clearly readable, just with some honest use on display rather than the near-mint look of the top two grades.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Rarity

Restricted is the rarity here — third from the top among standard weapon grades, just under Classified. It's an uncommon tier without being top-shelf rare.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Case and Collection

This finish is one of The Nuke Collection's pieces, which debuted with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Restricted skins from the collection drop at about a 16% rate, and given the collection's age, the market is where the large majority of copies are found these days.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Patterns

The hazard-sign artwork is fixed across every copy of the Nuclear Threat, so there's no seed-based pattern variation or "blue gem" to look for. Wear level and float are the only real differentiators.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish never got a StatTrak release. It does have a Souvenir counterpart, first distributed in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package and picked up again by later Major tournaments through their own packages. The one described here is the regular, non-Souvenir version.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Price

Field-Tested lands in the middle of the price ladder, cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New but still carrying the grail-tier finish's higher-end price tag. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested still look like the Nuclear Threat design?

Yes. Despite visible scuffing and a few scratches, the green hazard artwork stays fully readable at this condition. It's a noticeably more worn copy than Minimal Wear, but nowhere near as rough as Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred.

Is Field-Tested the best value on this skin?

For a lot of buyers, yes. It costs meaningfully less than the top two grades while keeping the design perfectly legible, making it a common pick for anyone who wants the Nuclear Threat without paying for its scarcest float window.

Which gloves go with the Nuclear Threat?

The green hazard theme pairs naturally with olive or dark-toned gloves, keeping the whole loadout in the same muted, tactical family rather than clashing with brighter colors.
