Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Minimal Wear)

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Minimal Wear)

The Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Minimal Wear) carries the same radiological hazard spray in bold green tones, one step down from the cleanest condition. It's the grade right below the razor-thin Factory New window, and still a sharp-looking copy.

Design

The hazard markings sit over a green-toned base, a design Valve kept simple and sign-like rather than crowding it with extra graphics. No community artist is attached to it, since Valve made this one directly.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Minimal Wear picks up the range right after the thin 0.06–0.07 Factory New band and runs to about 0.15. Wear here is minor — a touch of softening at the edges, but the green hazard graphics stay legible and close to full strength. It's a strong-looking condition for buyers who don't need the absolute top of the ladder.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Rarity

This is a Restricted-grade finish, sitting just below Classified as the third tier from the top. It's not the game's rarest grade, but it's still a genuinely uncommon one to pull.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Case and Collection

The Nuclear Threat comes from The Nuke Collection, tied to the Arms Deal update from August 2013. Roughly 16% of drops from that collection land on the Restricted tier, and with the collection being over a decade old now, buying on the market is far more common than pulling a fresh copy.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Patterns

Every copy of the Nuclear Threat carries the identical hazard-sign artwork — there's no paint seed to chase and nothing resembling a "blue gem" variant. Condition and float are what actually differ between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

StatTrak isn't offered for this finish. A Souvenir edition is, though, first issued in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package and later reissued through additional Major souvenir packages over the years. This page covers the standard, non-Souvenir copy.

Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat Price

Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the price ladder — still a grail-tier, high-end finish, but a step more attainable than the priciest condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How different does Minimal Wear look from Factory New?

Barely. The hazard graphics stay saturated and legible at Minimal Wear, with only faint softening at the edges compared to Factory New. Since true Factory New copies are so scarce here, most buyers looking for a near-flawless copy end up choosing Minimal Wear instead.

Is Minimal Wear a good value on the Nuclear Threat?

It's a reasonable middle ground. You get most of the visual sharpness of Factory New without competing for the razor-thin float window that condition requires, while still sitting well above the mid and low grades on the price ladder as a high-end pick.

Does the Nuclear Threat have a StatTrak version?

No. StatTrak was never produced for this finish, regardless of condition. It only exists as a regular skin and as a separate Souvenir edition sourced from Major tournament packages.
