Tec-9 | Toxic (Factory New)
The Tec-9 | Toxic (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin wrapped in a garish hydrographic print of nuclear-themed skulls and bones. At Factory New the finish sits at the top of its range, the sharpest possible copy of this loud, warning-label design.
Design
The finish leans into a toxic, over-the-top theme — a busy hydrographic wrap packed with nuclear-styled skulls and bones, more warning label than camouflage. It's a Valve-made finish, built entirely around this single loud graphic.
Tec-9 | Toxic (Factory New) Float and Wear
The Toxic's float runs from 0 to 0.70, and Factory New claims the bottom of that scale — as close to flawless as the skin gets. At this grade the skull-and-bones hydrographic reads fully saturated with no visible scuffing, giving the loudest possible version of the design.
Tec-9 | Toxic Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — one of the more common weapon grades, sitting above Consumer and Industrial Grade but well below Restricted, Classified, and Covert.
Tec-9 | Toxic Case and Collection
The Toxic belongs to The Cache Collection, which arrived with the Jul 2014 update. It isn't tied to its own weapon case — copies come from the Cache collection's drop pool while playing that map, or from trading and crafting. Within that pool, Mil-Spec Grade items like this one drop around 79.92% of the time, the most common tier in the set.
Tec-9 | Toxic Patterns
The Toxic has a fixed design — its skull-and-bones hydrographic sits identically on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" pattern worth chasing. Float and wear are the only variables between one copy and the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak version of the Toxic. A Souvenir version does exist, though — it first appeared in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Cache Souvenir Package, with later Major tournaments adding more souvenir packages carrying it over the years.
Tec-9 | Toxic Price
Factory New sits at the top of the Toxic's price ladder — the priciest way to own this loud finish, reflecting both its top condition and premium standing among Tec-9 skins. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the extra cost on the Toxic?
If you want the sharpest possible skull-and-bones print, yes — Factory New sits at the very bottom of the float range and shows essentially no wear. If a slightly softer edge doesn't bother you, Minimal Wear gets nearly the same look for less.
How rare is the Tec-9 | Toxic?
It's Mil-Spec Grade, one of the more common weapon rarities, and it's also the most frequent drop within The Cache Collection's rarity pool at around 79.92%. That makes it easy to find, whether picking one up on the market or hoping for a collection drop.
Does the Tec-9 | Toxic have a StatTrak version?
No, StatTrak was never produced for this finish. It does exist as a Souvenir item, first given out in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Cache Souvenir Package and again through later Major souvenir packages, but there's no confirmed-kill counter option.
