USP-S | Desert Tactical (Battle-Scarred)

USP-S | Desert Tactical (Battle-Scarred)

The USP-S | Desert Tactical (Battle-Scarred) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin in an olive-colored tactical camouflage, worn down to its roughest condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface quality for the lowest possible entry price.

Design

Desert Tactical keeps things low-key: an olive tactical camouflage of muted shades and a plain military pattern, no busy graphics involved. Designed by community artist emu, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Base models don't have to be boring."

USP-S | Desert Tactical (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred occupies the top end of the 0.00–1.00 float scale, so the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and body, with the olive camo rubbed thin in places. The pattern still anchors the look enough to recognize, but this is the most beaten-up the skin gets. It's all about the lowest price over a pristine surface.

USP-S Desert Tactical Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier. It stands directly above Consumer Grade as second from the bottom of the standard weapon grades — a common rarity across the game's skins.

USP-S Desert Tactical Case and Collection

Desert Tactical sits within The Anubis Collection, which was released alongside the Anubis Collection update on April 24, 2023. It's tied to that collection rather than an active case rotation, meaning nearly all copies are traded on the market rather than unboxed.

USP-S Desert Tactical Patterns

The olive camo is applied uniformly to every copy, so no random pattern variation exists — there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak version of this skin was never made, because StatTrak pistols come from weapon cases and Desert Tactical wasn't offered in one. A Souvenir version does exist, produced by Major-tournament souvenir packages and first available in the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package.

USP-S Desert Tactical Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the olive camo for players who care about the theme more than the condition. On a skin that's already budget-priced, it's the absolute floor. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred version still recognizable?

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing and paint loss, the olive tactical camo keeps the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look — the pattern and coloring still come through clearly enough.

Why choose Battle-Scarred Desert Tactical?

Purely for the price. It's the cheapest grade of an already inexpensive finish, so it's the pick when you want the olive camo in your loadout for as little as possible. If a flawless surface isn't your priority and the tactical theme is what you're after, this grade delivers it cheapest.

Which gloves match Desert Tactical?

Its olive-drab tone works with earthy, military gloves — green, khaki, or coyote wraps blend in, and an olive pair mirrors the camo directly. Skip bright or glossy gloves, which pull against the muted palette; keeping the accents grounded suits the tactical look best.
