USP-S | Guardian (Field-Tested)
The USP-S | Guardian (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin with a cobalt-blue body and the CT logo stenciled on the magazine, here with a touch of honest wear. It's the most affordable way into the design, and thanks to a tight float cap it stays milder than most Field-Tested skins.
Design
Guardian is minimalist by intent: a cobalt-blue coat over the frame and slide with a single CT logo stenciled on the magazine, leaning on clean lines instead of graphics. It began as a community submission from the artist J4CK, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "I don't have to like you, I have to keep you safe — Carmen Cocinero, Extraction Expert."
USP-S | Guardian (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Guardian is capped at 0.38, and Field-Tested is the most worn grade it reaches — there's no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred. Because that ceiling is so low, a Field-Tested copy shows only modest scuffing on the slide edges and around the magazine, nothing like the heavy battering of a full-1.0 skin. The blue holds its tone and the stencil stays clear, so the design still comes through cleanly.
USP-S | Guardian Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade. It ranks in the middle of the standard weapon tiers, above Mil-Spec and beneath Classified, a familiar color that's still a notch up from the base blues.
USP-S | Guardian Case and Collection
Part of The Phoenix Collection, Guardian drops from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case that arrived with Operation Phoenix back in February 2014. The Restricted tier as a group unboxes about 15.98% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — most copies come from the market instead of a case.
USP-S | Guardian Patterns
Because the cobalt coat and CT stencil sit the same way on every Guardian, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ USP-S | Guardian, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Phoenix Collection has never featured as a Major drop.
USP-S | Guardian Price
Field-Tested is the cheapest grade of the skin, the entry-level route to the cobalt design for players who care more about the look than a flawless surface. It keeps Guardian firmly in affordable mid-tier territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Guardian look?
Lighter than you might expect. Since the float is capped at 0.38, Field-Tested is the most worn grade possible, so you get modest edge scuffing on the slide and magazine rather than the heavy paint loss of a normal Battle-Scarred skin. The blue and the CT stencil stay easy to read in-game.
Is Field-Tested worth buying over Minimal Wear?
If price is your main concern, yes. Field-Tested is the lowest-cost way to own Guardian, and the tight float cap keeps its wear modest, so it still looks presentable. Minimal Wear costs more but shows almost no wear at all, so it's the pick if you want the color as vivid as possible.
Which gloves go with Guardian?
Its cobalt palette pairs best with a cool loadout, so blue or gray gloves are the natural match — blue-toned wraps echo the coat directly, while gray or white pairs keep the look tidy without clashing. It sits neatly in an all-CT-side setup built around blues.
