USP-S | Night Ops (Field-Tested)

USP-S | Night Ops (Field-Tested)

The USP-S | Night Ops (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a gray VariCamo body and a stealthy, tactical look. Field-Tested is the most common and budget-friendly way to own it — a touch of honest wear on a camo that hides it easily.

Design

Night Ops is a Valve design that cloaks the silenced USP-S in low-key gray camouflage. It has been painted using a VariCamo patterned hydrographic, an understated military aesthetic that relies on shifting tones instead of bold artwork. A fitting in-game line rides along with it: "Rebuilding only comes in the wake of destruction."

USP-S | Night Ops (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

The finish spans a float of 0.00–0.60, and Field-Tested sits in the middle of that band. At this grade the pistol picks up light scratching along the slide and edges, but the muted gray VariCamo camouflages it so effectively that most copies still read tidy at a glance. This is the grade most players end up with — the balance point between looks and price.

USP-S | Night Ops Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue grade, and the most common of the standard weapon tiers. That accessibility is exactly why it stays such a cheap, easy pistol to slot into any loadout.

USP-S | Night Ops Case and Collection

This pistol sits in The Lake Collection, released alongside the "Out with the old, in with the new" update back in November 2013. The Mil-Spec tier is the collection's most frequent drop at around 79.92% (a figure shared across the tier's skins), and the finish also turns up in the DreamHack 2013 and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Packages.

USP-S | Night Ops Patterns

Every copy wears the VariCamo hydrographic in the same layout, which means there's no random pattern variation and no paint seed or "blue gem" worth tracking. What separates one copy from the next is purely wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak version of this pistol was never made — StatTrak only comes from weapon cases specifically set up to offer it, and Night Ops doesn't drop from one. The Souvenir variant is a different story: produced through Major-tournament packages, it first surfaced in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and carries event stickers as a collectible.

USP-S | Night Ops Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping nearly the same appearance, which is a big reason it's the go-to Night Ops. It's an already affordable USP-S made even easier on the wallet. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Night Ops look beat up?

Not really. The gray VariCamo pattern masks scratches unusually well, so a Field-Tested copy still reads tidy to most eyes, with only light wear on the slide and edges under close inspection. The camo design stays fully intact, so the pistol keeps its tactical character.

Is Field-Tested the best-value Night Ops?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New but looks almost the same thanks to the wear-hiding camo, and it's the easiest grade to find. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price.

Which gloves suit the Field-Tested Night Ops?

Its gray tactical palette wants a muted loadout, so gray, black, or olive gloves fit best — dark wraps keep the stealthy military feel intact. Steer clear of bright colors, which clash with the low-key camo and pull attention away from the finish.
