USP-S | Orange Anolis (Minimal Wear)
The USP-S | Orange Anolis (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted pistol skin with a bright orange anodized coat and a reptilian lizard-scale pattern. Minimal Wear keeps the design looking vivid with only the faintest handling marks, making it a smart middle ground between top condition and value.
Design
Inspired by the Anolis lizard, this finish drops an "Anodized Multicolored" candy coat in warm, vivid orange over the slide and layers an overlapping reptile-scale texture on top. Valve crafted it, and the in-game line leans into the double meaning of its name: "Painted to scale."
USP-S | Orange Anolis (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across a float span of 0.00 to 0.37, Minimal Wear occupies the second-cleanest slot, just under Factory New. At this level the orange stays richly saturated and the scale detail holds up well, with any wear limited to the faintest touches along the slide edges. For most buyers it's the sweet spot — very close to the top grade for noticeably less.
USP-S | Orange Anolis Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It ranks one rung above Mil-Spec and stays two below Covert on the standard weapon ladder — a respectable mid-to-upper tier and a genuine step up from common drops.
USP-S | Orange Anolis Case and Collection
Part of The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, this skin arrived alongside Operation Riptide in September 2021. The collection isn't tied to a weapon case; it comes through the Dust II Souvenir packages awarded at Majors. Since the Restricted tier pulls at about 15.98% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), most copies change hands on the market rather than being freshly opened.
USP-S | Orange Anolis Patterns
Every copy carries the same anodized scale layout — the pattern is printed identically each time, so there's no paint seed lottery or "blue gem" chase attached to this finish. What separates one unit from another comes down purely to float and wear grade.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition was ever made, since StatTrak weapons originate from cases and this finish wasn't part of one. It does have a Souvenir counterpart, however — Souvenir items come only from Major souvenir packages, and this skin debuted in the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package, so a tournament-marked version circulates alongside the standard one.
USP-S | Orange Anolis Price
Minimal Wear settles in the upper-middle of the finish's range — below Factory New but above Field-Tested — offering nearly the top-grade look for a friendlier outlay. It's a premium USP-S finish that still stops well short of grail pricing. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Orange Anolis show much wear?
Hardly any. At this grade the slide keeps its bright orange coat and detailed scale pattern, with wear reduced to the lightest edge marks that you'd have to look closely to spot. It reads as good as new in-game, which is a big part of why it's such a popular grade to buy.
Minimal Wear or Field-Tested for this skin?
Minimal Wear holds a cleaner, more saturated look and hides handling marks better, while Field-Tested is cheaper and picks up more visible scuffing on the slide. If you want the design close to top condition, Minimal Wear is the pick; choose Field-Tested if the lowest entry price matters more than surface polish.
What's the price position of Minimal Wear here?
It sits in the premium band of the USP-S range, above Field-Tested and below Factory New. You're paying for a near-flawless look without the full top-grade premium, which makes it the value-conscious choice for players who still want the finish looking sharp.
