USP-S | Overgrowth (Field-Tested)
The USP-S | Overgrowth (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin wearing a lush green camo hydrographic, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and recognizable way to own the foliage look, sitting in the sweet spot between condition and cost.
Design
At its core the finish is a rich green camo hydrographic wrapped over the silenced USP, foliage-like cover that pairs tactical function with a survivalist aesthetic. The design comes from Valve, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Look me in the eyes and tell me that's standard issue - Felix Riley, Commanding Officer."
USP-S | Overgrowth (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
With float running 0.06–0.80, Field-Tested lands in the middle of that range. Here the finish picks up light scratching along the slide and edges, but the busy green camo pattern absorbs it well, so most copies still read cohesive at a glance. This is the grade most players picture when they think of Overgrowth — looks and price in balance.
USP-S | Overgrowth Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade, ranked in the mid-to-upper stretch of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.
USP-S | Overgrowth Case and Collection
Part of The Bravo Collection, Overgrowth drops from the Operation Bravo Case that arrived with Operation Bravo on September 19, 2013. The Restricted tier as a group unboxes about 15.98% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
USP-S | Overgrowth Patterns
The finish carries no random pattern roll: the green camo hydrographic is placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ version, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it comes out of the Operation Bravo Case as a scarcer, more expensive drop than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Bravo Collection has never featured as a Major drop.
USP-S | Overgrowth Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the recognizable foliage look, which is a big part of why it's the popular pick. It's still a high-end USP-S, just the friendliest way into the finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested Overgrowth look worn?
Only mildly. The finish takes on light scratching along the slide and edges, but the dense green camo pattern hides it well, so a Field-Tested copy still reads cohesive to most eyes. The foliage look stays clearly intact, which is why this grade is the most popular way to own the skin.
Is Field-Tested the best value Overgrowth?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New but keeps the camo look largely intact thanks to the busy pattern, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.
Which gloves go with Overgrowth?
The green camo fits an earthy, outdoors loadout, so olive, forest-green, or camo-pattern gloves work best. A green pair echoes the foliage tone, while plain dark or tan wraps keep the tactical, survivalist feel — either way you're leaning into the natural-camouflage theme the skin is built around.
