USP-S | Road Rash (Well-Worn)

USP-S | Road Rash (Well-Worn)

The USP-S | Road Rash (Well-Worn) is a Restricted pistol skin with a gray, sandpaper-scuffed body and a printed flying bullet, here in a rougher state. It's a cheaper route into a finish that was built to look battered, so the extra wear suits it more than it hurts.

Design

At heart this is a Valve-made tactical design: a rugged gray coat over the pistol, the image of a flying bullet printed across it, and a sandpaper weathering pass that leaves everything looking hard-used. That worn character is the point of the artwork, not an accident of grade.

USP-S | Road Rash (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish uses the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Well-Worn sits in the upper-wear band. Expect clear scuffing and paint thinning across the slide and edges — but since the base already imitates a beaten-up surface, the skin absorbs that damage better than a glossy finish would. The flying-bullet image still anchors the look and stays readable.

USP-S | Road Rash Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It ranks above Mil-Spec and below the Classified and Covert tiers, making it an uncommon rarity for a sidearm.

USP-S | Road Rash Case and Collection

Belonging to The Overpass Collection, Road Rash arrived with Operation Breakout in June 2014. As a group the Restricted tier unboxes about 15.98% of the time (the figure is shared across the tier). The finish is handed out in Major-tournament Overpass Souvenir packages instead of a live case, so nearly all copies are bought on the market.

USP-S | Road Rash Patterns

There's nothing random to the layout: the gray coat and flying-bullet print appear the same on each copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" exists to hunt for. The only things separating copies are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak Road Rash — StatTrak is generated inside weapon cases, and this finish never shipped in one, so a counter variant was never produced. Souvenir editions do exist though; the earliest came from the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package, complete with the gold nametag and Major stickers that mark souvenir drops.

USP-S | Road Rash Price

Well-Worn sits low on the ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who don't want to pay the mid-grade premium. Given how well the finish carries wear, it's one of the more forgiving cheap grades around. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How rough does the Well-Worn Road Rash look?

Fairly rough, but on-theme. There's visible scuffing and paint thinning on the slide and edges — more than Field-Tested, short of Battle-Scarred — and because the design already mimics a battered surface, that wear reinforces the look rather than ruining it. The flying-bullet print keeps it recognizable in-game.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Mainly if price leads your decision. Field-Tested looks a step tidier for a modest bump in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.

Do Souvenir copies come in Well-Worn?

Souvenir Road Rash exists across the finish's grades, drawn from Overpass Major packages, though higher-wear souvenir copies are scarcer than clean ones. Each carries a gold nametag and event stickers, so a worn Souvenir trades some surface polish for the tournament collectible angle.
