USP-S | Royal Blue (Minimal Wear)
The USP-S | Royal Blue (Minimal Wear) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin with a solid regal-blue coat on the silenced USP. Minimal Wear keeps the color nearly spotless while asking a little less than the top grade — a smart pick on a rare, high-end finish.
Design
The look is pure color: a deep, even blue with no graphics, decals, or stencils anywhere on the slide. Valve built it as part of the solid-color family that also runs to indigo, crimson and gray, and it ships with a fitting in-game quote: "You should smile Felix, you'd have more luck with the ladies if you didn't look like such a dour bastard all the time."
USP-S | Royal Blue (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Sitting just above Factory New in the 0.06–0.80 range, Minimal Wear shows the blue almost as evenly as the top grade. Only under close inspection do the faintest signs of edge wear appear, and from playing distance the flat blue reads uniform. For buyers who want near-top condition without paying the full Factory New premium, this is the sweet spot.
USP-S | Royal Blue Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier near the bottom of the standard grades. The tier is ordinary; the finish is not, and that gap between common grade and scarce skin is a big part of its appeal.
USP-S | Royal Blue Case and Collection
This finish is drawn from The Cobblestone Collection, which arrived alongside Operation Breakout in July 2014. Rather than dropping from a weapon case, it comes exclusively from Cobblestone Souvenir Packages tied to Major tournaments, so its supply is limited and event-linked. As a result the market, not unboxing, is where nearly every copy changes hands.
USP-S | Royal Blue Patterns
There's nothing random to chase on this skin — the flat blue coat lands identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" exists to hunt. The only variables that set copies apart are their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Royal Blue was never made, because StatTrak variants originate from weapon cases and this finish never appeared in one. The Souvenir version, on the other hand, is real: it came out of Cobblestone Souvenir Packages beginning with the ESL One Cologne 2014 package, and those Major-issued drops can bear stickers and team tags that lift their collector value.
USP-S | Royal Blue Price
Minimal Wear sits a notch under Factory New on the price ladder while looking almost the same — a genuine value angle on a grail-tier finish that never comes cheap. For most collectors it's the best balance of condition and cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New?
For many buyers, yes. The flat blue coat looks nearly identical at both grades from normal distance, so Minimal Wear delivers almost the same visual for a step down in price. Pay up for Factory New only if you want the absolute cleanest coat on the shelf; otherwise this grade is the smarter buy.
How rare is Royal Blue?
Very. It was only ever obtainable from Cobblestone Souvenir Packages at Majors, never from a weapon case, which keeps supply thin regardless of grade. That scarcity is why a low-tier Industrial Grade finish commands high-end, grail-level prices.
Does Minimal Wear show any wear at all?
Barely. There may be the faintest edge scuffing on close inspection, but the solid blue surface stays even and clean to the eye in-game. It's a clear step above the visible fading that starts to appear at Field-Tested and below.
