USP-S | Stainless (Well-Worn)
The USP-S | Stainless (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin with a matte black frame and a polished stainless-steel slide, shown here in a noticeably weathered state. It's a budget route into the silver-on-black design for players who care more about price than a flawless slide.
Design
Stainless is a study in contrast: a polished stainless-steel slide over a matte black body, with no artwork or graphic — just cold silver metal set against a dark frame. Valve designed it as a minimalist, industrial finish, and that steel slide does all the visual work.
USP-S | Stainless (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
The finish covers a float of 0.00–0.80, and Well-Worn sits high on that scale (around 0.38–0.45). At this grade the slide takes on clear darker toning and visible texturing as the polish gives way, and the black frame shows heavier scuffing along the edges. The design stays readable, but there's no mistaking this for a fresh copy — it's the look at a lower cost.
USP-S | Stainless Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — the most common grade of named weapon finishes. Its low rung on the rarity ladder keeps it accessible, which is a key reason this USP-S is so widely owned.
USP-S | Stainless Case and Collection
The skin belongs to The Arms Deal 3 Collection and is unboxed from CS:GO Weapon Case 3, which launched with the "Introducing the CZ75-Auto" update in February 2014. As a group the Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from that case (an odds figure shared across the tier), and being an older case, its copies now mostly come from the market instead of unboxing.
USP-S | Stainless Patterns
Because the polished slide and black frame are placed the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition does exist, dropping from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 with a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, costlier drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item changes hands. A Souvenir version was never made — Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never part of one.
USP-S | Stainless Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade rate. It's one of the cheaper routes to a genuine Stainless. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Stainless look?
Quite a bit. Expect the slide's polish to fade into darker toning and visible texture, with heavier scuffing on the black frame's edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the full battering of Battle-Scarred. The silver-and-black contrast keeps it recognizable in game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your top priority. Field-Tested keeps the slide noticeably brighter for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Does the black frame hold up better than the slide?
Yes. The matte black body disguises scuffing well, so even at Well-Worn the frame reads mostly intact, while the steel slide shows most of the wear through darker toning and texture. That's where your eye will land first on a higher-float copy.
