Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Battle-Scarred)

Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Battle-Scarred)

The Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted-grade taser finish in its most heavily worn condition, the yellow body scuffed down and the black-and-red accents fighting through the damage. It's the cheapest way into a famously loud equipment design.

Design

Underneath the wear, the concept is all brightness — a yellow shell with black and red accents built to stand out on a weapon most opponents only see at point-blank range. Valve made the finish in-house, pairing it with a tongue-in-cheek caption: "WARNING: BRIGHT LIGHT, AVOID EXPOSURE."

Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

This finish uses the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Battle-Scarred occupies the top of it — so, unlike float-capped skins, its worst copies do reach the extreme end of the scale. Heavy scratching and paint loss cover the casing, muting the yellow considerably, though the accents keep the design just legible. It's about accepting damage for the lowest price.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade. It falls in the mid-to-upper band of standard weapon and equipment finishes, comfortably above the common tiers, and remains a respectable grade to have in a loadout.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Case and Collection

This taser is drawn from The Train 2025 Collection, which came out with the Spring Forward update in March 2025. That collection hands out its finishes as gameplay drops rather than through a purchasable case, so the regular version is a collection drop or trade-up product, and with supply locked, most copies are bought and sold on the open market.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Patterns

Because the yellow base and black-and-red accents are fixed onto every copy in the same spots, this finish carries no random pattern roll — no paint seed to weigh, no blue-gem outlier to hunt. Copies differ only in their float and how much wear shows.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version of this finish; StatTrak is only minted for skins that ship inside cases, whereas this one is a collection drop. A Souvenir version does accompany the regular finish, though — it's generated through Major-tournament souvenir packages, beginning with the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and expanding through later Major packages.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the lowest-cost entry to a design that otherwise sits at high-end, grail-tier prices, aimed at players who want the look over a pristine surface. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Charged Up still recognizable?

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing and dulled yellow, the black and red accents keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about trading surface condition for the lowest price rather than losing the identity of the finish, which stays clear enough in normal play.

Does Battle-Scarred reach maximum wear?

It can. This finish isn't float-capped — it runs the full 0.00–1.00 range — so its Battle-Scarred copies genuinely reach the extreme high end of the scale, showing the heaviest scratching and paint loss the taser is capable of. Lower-float Battle-Scarred copies within the grade look somewhat tidier.

Why is Charged Up expensive even at the worst grade?

Demand for the design and a fixed collection supply keep prices up across every grade. It's a high-end, grail-tier finish, so even Battle-Scarred copies command more than many finishes do at their cleanest. Buyers accept the wear here specifically to get the design at the lowest price it reaches.
