Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Field-Tested)

Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Field-Tested)

The Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Field-Tested) is a Restricted-grade taser finish with a yellow body and black-and-red accents, here carrying a bit of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common way to own the design and the sweet spot between looks and cost.

Design

At its heart this is a loud color statement — a yellow shell layered with black and red accents across the stun gun's casing, built for visibility rather than restraint. Valve designed it in-house, and it ships with a wink of a caption: "WARNING: BRIGHT LIGHT, AVOID EXPOSURE."

Zeus x27 | Charged Up (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

The finish spans the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Field-Tested lands in the middle of it. Expect light scratching around the casing edges and the electrode prongs, but the bright yellow field holds its color and the accents stay legible, so the design still reads boldly even with a little grime. This is the grade most owners picture.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — marked by the purple tag. It's a mid-to-upper grade in the standard weapon and equipment lineup, sitting well above the common finishes and treated as a genuine step up.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Case and Collection

This finish comes from The Train 2025 Collection, released with the Spring Forward update in March 2025. The collection isn't tied to a purchasable case — it drops during gameplay — so the regular version is obtained as a collection drop or a trade-up result, and buyers generally source copies from the market rather than by unboxing.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Patterns

No paint seed comes into play on this taser: the yellow base and the black-and-red accents are fixed in place, so every copy looks the same and there's no blue-gem seed worth hunting. Wear and float are what set individual copies apart.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak version of this finish — StatTrak is reserved for skins minted in cases, and this one is a collection drop. It does have a Souvenir counterpart alongside the regular finish, however: Souvenir copies are produced from Major-tournament souvenir packages, the earliest being the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package, with more added at later Majors.

Zeus x27 | Charged Up Price

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the price ladder — cheaper than the top two grades while keeping the design fully readable, which makes it the practical entry point to a high-end, grail-tier Zeus finish. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Charged Up look worn?

Only lightly. You'll spot minor scratching around the casing edges and the prongs on close inspection, but the bright yellow field keeps its saturation and the black and red accents stay clearly defined, so the finish still delivers its full color impact from normal viewing distance.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Factory New and Minimal Wear while the wear stays subtle enough that the design still pops, and it's the most plentiful grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you don't mind heavier scuffing.

How do you get the regular Charged Up?

The regular finish is part of The Train 2025 Collection, so it comes from a collection drop during gameplay or as the output of a trade-up contract rather than from opening a case. Because the supply is fixed, most players simply buy the grade they want on the market.
