Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Well-Worn, WW) is a Classified pistol skin with dragons laser-etched into its slide and grip, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper way into a distinctive Deagle finish, with wear that softens the etching but doesn't erase it.
Design
The look centers on dragons laser-etched onto the slide and grip — a mythical, intricate motif that leans on fine detail rather than a bold printed graphic. It's a community design from the artist The Honey Badger, and it carries an in-game line to match: "I'm a big fan of your work Yukako, we should talk... -Huxley, The Competition".
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Float on this finish runs from 0.00 up toward 0.76, and Well-Worn sits high in that range. At this level the slide shows clear scuffing and paint loss, and the etched dragons lose some crispness where the surface thins. The artwork still comes through, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade — a fair trade for players who care more about price than surface condition.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, ranked just below Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon grades. Unboxing one is genuinely uncommon.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Case and Collection
This finish sits in The Wildfire Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Wildfire Case, released together with Operation Wildfire on February 17, 2016. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Patterns
The laser-etched dragons are placed the same on every copy, so there's no random pattern variation to this finish — no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter and comes from the Operation Wildfire Case; it's rarer and more expensive than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish never featured in one.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested (FT) and above only Battle-Scarred (BS) — a budget route to the dragon artwork for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get this finish into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Kumicho Dragon look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing and paint loss on the slide, with the etched dragons softening where the surface wears thin — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The artwork stays recognizable, so it still reads as the Kumicho Dragon in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price is your priority. Field-Tested keeps the etching noticeably sharper for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want this finish as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does wear ruin the dragon artwork?
Not entirely. Higher float softens the laser-etched detail and adds scuffing to the slide, but the dragons stay identifiable even at Well-Worn. If crisp linework is the whole point for you, a higher grade is the way to go; if you just want the look for less, this grade delivers.
