What's Inside the Capsule?
The collection features 39 different stickers referencing iconic moments from the show, like Johnny Knoxville’s bull rodeo, the giant portable toilet catapult, and the classic "High Five!".
Here is the breakdown by rarity (remember, Paper stickers drop about 80% of the time):
18 Paper Stickers (including Airhorn, Censored, ZZZAP!, Rocket Skates, Skull Bunny)
13 Holo or Glitter Stickers (featuring brighter colors and visual effects)
5 Foil Stickers (including Assterisk, Censored, Explosives, Radiograph, WARNING)
3 Lenticular Stickers (Electric Avenue, Partyboy, Poo Cocktail Supreme)
Scrape Secrets and Easter Eggs
Because it’s Jackass, the collection is heavily aimed at a mature audience, and the scrape mechanics don't disappoint. Here’s what happens when you scrape some of the stickers:
Jackass Logo: Fully scraping it leaves only the word "Ass".

High Five!: At high scrape levels, the hand flips to show a middle finger.

Partyboy: Scraping removes the rainbow outline and adds underwear to cover the chest and groin.

Skull Bunny: Can be scraped to remove the skull completely, leaving just the word "Jackass".

Big Red Rocket & Boner Snap: Both feature visual transformations that abruptly change the shape or reveal their names as they wear down.

Why Did Valve Release This Now?
The capsule’s release surprised the community, especially since Valve seemed to be moving away from traditional loot boxes after introducing the new sticker system during the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.
There are two main theories for the drop:
Timing: The collaboration had likely been in the works for a long time. Once the Major Shop wrapped up, Valve pushed the capsule live while the new Jackass movie was still in theaters.
Legal Strategy: Some community experts, like MikeWater9, suggest the adult-oriented collaboration might be a subtle move by Valve to reinforce that CS2 is not a game designed for children, which could help them amidst ongoing legal scrutiny regarding loot boxes from New York state prosecutors.
Market Impact and Regional Bans
It's too early to tell if this means sticker capsules and loot boxes are back for good, or if this was just a one-time exception for a special crossover.
However, because it uses the traditional capsule mechanic, the Jackass Capsule is currently unavailable in countries with strict loot box laws. Players in France, Germany, and the Netherlands are unable to open the capsules and will have to wait for the stickers to hit the Steam Community Market to get their hands on them.
