Design
Custom painted with a bold, multicolored graphic, Crossfade was created in-house at Valve rather than submitted by the community. It carries the fitting in-game line: "Caught between frames."
AK-47 | Crossfade (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, with the graphic finish worn thin in places. This skin's float is capped at 0.50, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the extreme end of the wear scale, which means the design stays more legible than heavily worn skins that run all the way to 1.0.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look fully trashed?
