AK-47 | Elite Build (Well-Worn)
The AK-47 | Elite Build (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin with an orange-and-gray mechanical build styled after exposed hardware, here in a more battered state. It's one of the cheapest ways into the design, with scuffing that's clearly visible but doesn't erase the look — the orange accents still stand out.
Design
Elite Build turns the AK into a stripped-down mechanical build — orange and gray parts positioned to mimic exposed hardware and plating, not a painted graphic. The artist M1nDᵈᵉˢᶥᶢᶰˢ created it as a community design, custom painted using hydrographics and careful stenciling before being detailed with heat-transfer decals. It carries the in-game line: "Tread softly Naomi...people in your line of work aren't known for their longevity."
AK-47 | Elite Build (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the magazine, receiver, and edges, where the gray plating thins out and the surface looks genuinely used. The orange accents still stand out as the anchor that keeps the build recognizable. For players who care more about price than a pristine finish, this grade delivers the same design for less.
AK-47 | Elite Build Rarity
Mil-Spec Grade is the rarity here: the blue tier, the base level of the standard weapon grades that drop from a case. As the most common rarity band, it's a big reason the skin stays affordable.
AK-47 | Elite Build Case and Collection
Elite Build is one of The Chroma 2 Collection skins, unboxed from the Chroma 2 Case that launched with the April 2015 update. Being a Mil-Spec item, it's the most common pull at roughly 79.92% of the blue-tier drops, so there's plenty of supply and copies are easy to grab on the market rather than opening cases.
AK-47 | Elite Build Patterns
No random pattern variation applies to Elite Build — the orange-and-gray build appears the same on every copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt down. What separates copies is purely wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
The Elite Build comes in a StatTrak™ flavor with a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier Chroma 2 Case drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item whenever it's traded or sold. A Souvenir variant doesn't exist, since Souvenir weapons are issued only through Major-tournament souvenir packages and this skin was never part of a Major drop.
AK-47 | Elite Build Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a rock-bottom route to the design for players who won't pay even the modest mid-grade premium. On an already budget skin, it's about as cheap as an AK gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Elite Build actually look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning on the magazine and around the edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The orange accents and gray build keep it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as an Elite Build in-game despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if you want the absolute lowest price. Field-Tested looks a good deal cleaner for a very small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you're chasing the cheapest possible Elite Build and don't mind the extra scuffing that comes with it.
Does the pattern matter on the AK-47 | Elite Build?
No. The orange-and-gray mechanical build is applied identically to every copy, so there's no random pattern index, paint seed, or "blue gem" variant worth chasing. Wear and float are the only things that separate one Elite Build from another, which keeps shopping for this skin simple.
