The AK-47 | B the Monster (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin wearing custom graffiti from the monster tunnel on Overpass and metallic silver and gold accents in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into this Covert AK, trading a pristine finish for the lowest entry price — putting the design in reach for less.
Design
A Valve creation, B the Monster wraps the rifle in graffiti taken from the monster tunnel on Overpass, finished with metallic silver and gold accents. The busy street-art motif — not a single flat shade — is what gives it so much character, and it ships with the in-game quote "There's no turning back now…"
AK-47 | B the Monster (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the skin wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the silver and gold accents are dulled and scuffed. The graffiti still anchors the look and keeps it readable. This finish is float-capped at 0.8, so even at its roughest it never reaches the extreme end of the wear scale.

Because the AK-47 | B the Monster has no random pattern rolls, the graffiti and its silver and gold accents look the same on all copies, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float tell one copy from another.

Is the Battle-Scarred B the Monster still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and dulled metallic accents, the dense monster-tunnel graffiti keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look entirely — the skin's character still comes through.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred B the Monster look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.8 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with the busy graffiti that disguises damage, the skin stays more legible at Battle-Scarred than many lighter, flatter finishes do.
What's the cheapest B the Monster?
