AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Well-Worn)
The AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Well-Worn) is a Covert rifle skin with a fire-serpent motif — a coiled serpent rendered in fiery orange-red over a deep forest-green body, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into a grail-tier AK, with heavier wear that the busy artwork still partly carries.
Design
At its core the skin sets a coiled fire-serpent over a deep forest-green base, the serpentwork glowing fiery orange-red along the receiver and stock. Valve built the design in-house instead of taking it from the Workshop, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "If you want to survive in the streets, learn to spit fire."
AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the magazine, receiver, and edges, where the finish thins out. The serpent artwork still anchors the look and keeps it identifiable, but there's no pretending this is a clean copy. For collectors who want a genuine Fire Serpent without the clean-grade premium, this grade delivers the same iconic design for less.
AK-47 | Fire Serpent Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier. It sits above Classified as the top grade of standard weapon skins, and as the rarest case pull it accounts for a large share of the Fire Serpent's price.
AK-47 | Fire Serpent Case and Collection
The Fire Serpent sits in The Bravo Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Bravo Case, released alongside Operation Bravo in September 2013 — one of the oldest cases in CS2. Since the Covert tier only drops around 0.64% of the time and the Operation Bravo Case is long out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed and slowly shrinking, so nearly every copy changes hands on the market rather than getting unboxed.
AK-47 | Fire Serpent Patterns
Because the serpent artwork sits the same on every copy, the Fire Serpent carries no random pattern variation — no paint seed or blue gem to track down. Its value comes from wear together with the skin's rarity and prestige, not a lucky pattern roll.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can find a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Fire Serpent — dropping from the Operation Bravo Case, it adds a confirmed-kill counter as a rarer, pricier variant of the standard skin, with the counter permanently attached to the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir version: Souvenir weapons originate only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and since the Operation Bravo Case came from an operation and never a Major, a Souvenir Fire Serpent was never produced.
AK-47 | Fire Serpent Price
Well-Worn sits near the lower end of the Fire Serpent ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a cheaper way into the finish for buyers who care about owning it more than owning it clean. Even so, it's still a high-end skin, because scarcity keeps every grade of this grail well above ordinary AKs. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Well-Worn actually look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning on the magazine, receiver, and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest Battle-Scarred battering. The dense serpent artwork keeps the skin recognizable at a glance, so it still reads clearly as a Fire Serpent in-game despite the added wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is the priority. Field-Tested looks cleaner for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want a genuine Fire Serpent as cheaply as possible without dropping to Battle-Scarred, accepting more visible wear in exchange for the lower entry price.
Why does the AK-47 | Fire Serpent stay expensive even at Well-Worn?
Because scarcity, not condition, drives most of its value. It's a Covert from a discontinued case with fixed supply and heavy collector demand, so every grade carries a premium over normal AKs. Wear lowers the price relative to the clean copies, but it doesn't pull a grail finish down to budget territory.
