AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Minimal Wear)
The AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Minimal Wear) is a Covert rifle skin with an intricate, hand-painted gold arabesque and filigree over a black body. Minimal Wear keeps the ornate gold detailing looking crisp for a touch less than Factory New, making it a favorite grade for a grail-tier AK.
Design
A Valve creation, Gold Arabesque hand-paints the AK-47 in gold, sending fine filigree accents scrolling across a black body. The result is intricate and luxurious — almost decorative — a clear break from the usual military finishes, and it ships with the in-game line: "What other tricks does Booth have up his sleeve?"
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
At Minimal Wear the finish stays visually very clean — only the faintest edge wear if any, with the gold filigree still bright and the black body deep. You'd need to look closely to spot the difference from Factory New. For most buyers it's the sweet spot: near-pristine detailing without paying for the very top grade.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Rarity
This finish is a Covert — the red tier, and the top rarity available to a standard weapon skin. Being the rarest, hardest-to-pull grade in its collection is a big reason it sits where it does.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Case and Collection
This finish sits in The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, which arrived alongside Operation Riptide in September 2021. Because it's a Souvenir collection, copies are handed out in Dust II Souvenir Packages at Majors — the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package was the first. Covert drops land only around 0.64% of the time, keeping supply tiny and pushing most trades onto the market.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on the Gold Arabesque — the gold scrollwork and filigree land identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. What sets copies apart is wear and float, along with whether a given one is a Souvenir.
StatTrak & Souvenir
The Gold Arabesque does come in a Souvenir edition — those copies fall from Major-tournament Dust II packages and wear commemorative stickers and gold text, making them the collectible take on the skin. StatTrak is the one thing it lacks: since StatTrak weapons only originate in Weapon Cases and this finish was never boxed, existing solely in souvenir packages, there's simply no kill-counter variant.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Price
Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the finish's ladder while looking almost identical, which makes it the value pick among the higher grades. It's still firmly high-end, grail-tier money — this is a scarce Souvenir-origin Covert, not a budget AK. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Minimal Wear look worn?
Barely. At Minimal Wear the finish shows at most a hint of edge wear, and the gold filigree stays bright against the black body. To most eyes it reads as clean as Factory New in-game, which is exactly why it's such a popular grade — near-pristine looks without paying for the very top float.
Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?
Among the higher grades, yes. It costs less than Factory New yet looks nearly the same, so buyers who want fine gold detailing without the top-grade premium tend to land here. Field-Tested and the lower wears cost less again, but they start to show scuffing that a decorative gold design like this reveals more readily.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque?
Its gold-and-black palette suits a rich, luxe loadout, so black gloves with gold or tan detailing tie it together best — think dark wraps that echo the body while a warm accent picks up the filigree. Keeping the rest of the kit dark lets the gold do the talking rather than fighting it.
