AK-47 | Head Shot (Field-Tested)
The AK-47 | Head Shot (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin with a white, pearlescent-coated body and a custom "HEAD SHOT GUN" graffiti, here with a bit of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to own the design, trading some of the pristine white for a lower price.
Design
With a white base, a pearlescent coating, and a custom-painted "HEAD SHOT GUN" graffiti, Head Shot goes for a bold, modern statement built on headshot motifs rather than camo or florals. It's a community piece by the artist SerQ, and it carries a fitting in-game caption: "Everyone has goals, but are you willing to put in the work to achieve them?"
AK-47 | Head Shot (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish picks up visible scratching along the edges and on the magazine, and because the base is white that wear shows more openly than it would on a dark skin. The graffiti and pearl coating stay recognizable, but you can clearly see this is a used grade. Even so, Field-Tested is the most popular pick, since it lands the design at a friendlier price.
AK-47 | Head Shot Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier and the top grade of the standard weapon skins, positioned above Classified. No standard skins are rarer to pull from a case than the Coverts.
AK-47 | Head Shot Case and Collection
Found in The Revolution Collection, the AK-47 | Head Shot drops from the Revolution Case. The Covert tier as a whole drops about 0.64% of the time from that case, which makes it a genuinely rare pull; the bulk of copies change hands on the market rather than being unboxed directly.
AK-47 | Head Shot Patterns
The AK-47 | Head Shot carries no random pattern variation: the graffiti and pearlescent coating land identically on each copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Only wear and float distinguish one Head Shot from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Head Shot, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and pricier drop than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item when it's traded or sold. No Souvenir version was ever made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages and the Head Shot has never been a Major drop.
AK-47 | Head Shot Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the design fully recognizable, which is a big part of why it's the most-traded grade. Within the AK-47 lineup it's an affordable mid-tier finish that stays easy on the wallet. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Head Shot look worn?
A little, yes. On a white base the light scratching along the edges and magazine is easier to spot than it would be on a dark skin, so a Field-Tested copy reads as clearly used up close. The "HEAD SHOT GUN" graffiti and pearl coating stay intact, though, so the design is still fully recognizable in-game.
Is Field-Tested the best value AK-47 | Head Shot?
For most buyers, yes. It's the most common grade and costs noticeably less than the cleaner exteriors while still showing the full design. If you want a crisper white base you'll want Minimal Wear or Factory New; if you want to save even more, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit lower on the ladder.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Head Shot?
The white, pearlescent palette suits a clean, bright loadout, so white or light-gray gloves are the natural match. Slightly worn-looking pale wraps can even complement a Field-Tested body, and a single accent color picks up the graffiti without fighting the light base.
