AK-47 | Panthera onca (Battle-Scarred)

AK-47 | Panthera onca (Battle-Scarred)

The AK-47 | Panthera onca (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified rifle skin with carved wood furniture and a hand-painted jaguar on the receiver, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the exotic jungle design, trading a pristine look for the lowest entry price.

Design

Panthera onca is all jungle big-cat: intricately carved wood on the handguard and stock tends to draw the eye more than the painted jaguar running down the side. Its warm browns feel natural and exotic, a wildlife-inspired Valve finish tagged with the fitting line "Who said you can't change your spots?"

AK-47 | Panthera onca (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the wood furniture looks weathered and dulled. The painted jaguar survives as the anchor that keeps the skin recognizable. This is the roughest grade the finish comes in, and even so it stays readable thanks to its high-contrast artwork.

AK-47 | Panthera onca Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier of the standard weapon grades. It stands directly beneath Covert as the second-highest grade, so getting one is genuinely uncommon.

AK-47 | Panthera onca Case and Collection

Panthera onca is part of The Ancient Collection and doesn't drop from a regular weapon case; its source is Major-tournament Ancient Souvenir packages. As a Classified it shows up only around 3.2% of the time, and with supply bound to Major events rather than an active case, the market — not firsthand unboxing — is where most copies come from.

AK-47 | Panthera onca Patterns

Every Panthera onca shares the same arrangement of carved wood and painted jaguar — no random pattern variation, no paint seed, no "blue gem" to seek. What separates copies is nothing more than wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition of Panthera onca exists — that variant is tied to weapon cases, and this finish has never been in one. A Souvenir version is available instead, coming from Major-tournament Ancient Souvenir packages, so those copies may feature tournament stickers and provenance from their originating event.

AK-47 | Panthera onca Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the exotic jaguar AK for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Panthera onca still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and weathered wood, the warm browns and the painted jaguar keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the theme entirely — the big-cat artwork still carries the look.

Why choose Battle-Scarred?

Price, mainly. It's the least expensive route to a genuine Panthera onca, and because the design leans on high-contrast artwork over fine surface polish, it holds up better at heavy wear than many lighter, cleaner skins. If you want the finish in your loadout for the smallest outlay, this is the grade.

Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Panthera onca?

Its warm, earthy browns and jungle theme suit a natural loadout, so tan, brown, or olive gloves work best — an earthy brown pair echoes the wood furniture, while muted green wraps lean into the big-cat, jungle vibe. Steer clear of bright neon tones, which fight the organic palette.
