AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor (Factory New)
The AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor (Factory New) is a Classified rifle skin with a matte black body and a purple, spectral creature painted across it in a dotted, halftone-style treatment. Factory New is the cleanest grade this finish comes in — the boldest the design ever looks, with the ghostly figure fully defined.
Design
The Phantom Disruptor features a mistform illusion creature custom painted over a matte black base, rendered in cool purple and magenta tones with a dotted, halftone-style texture that gives it a spectral, digital-disruption feel. It's a community design by the artist Apel, and it carries an eerie in-game line: "It can be whatever it wants, wherever it wants, and yet it chooses to reside with you…"
AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor (Factory New) Float and Wear
At Factory New the finish shows no scuffing at all — the matte black base is unblemished and the purple creature reads sharp and vivid across the body. This is the top grade for the skin, so if you want the phantom figure at its best with the halftone detail fully intact, this is the one to own.
AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, second from the top of the standard weapon grades, just below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull from a case.
AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor is part of The Prisma 2 Collection and drops from the Prisma 2 Case, released in March 2020. The Classified tier as a whole drops about 3.2% of the time from the case, and supply is set by how much the case is opened — most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed.
AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor Patterns
The AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor has no random pattern variation — the purple creature and matte black base sit the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things that separate one Phantom Disruptor from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Prisma 2 Case has never been a Major drop.
AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor Price
Factory New sits at the top of the Phantom Disruptor price ladder, since it's the top grade the skin comes in — a step above Minimal Wear. Even so, it stays in the budget-friendly part of the AK-47 lineup, making it one of the most affordable ways to run a pristine Classified AK. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium over Minimal Wear?
If you want the absolute cleanest version, yes. Factory New keeps the matte black base spotless and the purple creature at its most defined, with no visible wear. Minimal Wear looks very close for less, so the Factory New premium is mostly about owning the top grade rather than a dramatic visual gap — and even Factory New stays affordable here.
What does the AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor actually depict?
A mistform illusion creature — a ghostly purple figure rendered in a dotted, halftone-style texture — custom painted over a matte black base. The dark backdrop makes the spectral shape pop, giving the skin a futuristic, digital-disruption look that leans on cool purple and magenta tones rather than bright graphics.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor?
Its black-and-purple palette suits a dark, moody loadout, so black or purple gloves work best — a purple pair picks up the spectral creature, while plain black wraps keep the stealthy, matte vibe intact. Something like the Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono or a dark Hydra Gloves set ties the look together.
