AK-47 | Predator (Battle-Scarred)

AK-47 | Predator (Battle-Scarred)

The AK-47 | Predator (Battle-Scarred) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin finished in a green-and-black zebra-stripe spray pattern, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into an old-school AK design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price in the game.

Design

The Predator's green-and-black zebra, or tiger-stripe, spray pattern wraps the AK-47 in a rugged, almost camo-like look. Built by Valve, it's one of the earliest AK-47 skins in the game and leans on a straightforward striped print rather than busy graphics or decals.

AK-47 | Predator (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the coat is worn thin in places. The green-and-black stripes survive as the detail that keeps the skin recognizable. This finish is capped at 0.80, so it never reaches the extreme end of the float scale, and the design stays legible even at its roughest.

AK-47 | Predator Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier near the foot of the standard weapon grades and one rung above Consumer Grade. It's a common grade, and that commonness is a major reason the Predator remains so cheap.

AK-47 | Predator Case and Collection

The Predator is a Dust Collection finish, part of one of the original sets that debuted with the Arms Deal update on August 14, 2013. As one of the game's earliest AK-47 skins, it's spent over a decade in circulation, and that long history plus a low rarity keeps market supply plentiful.

AK-47 | Predator Patterns

The AK-47 | Predator uses a fixed stripe layout rather than a randomized one — the green-and-black zebra stripes appear essentially the same on each copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float tell one copy apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

The Predator was never made with a StatTrak kill counter, so there's no StatTrak variant and no confirmed-kill copy exists. Nor is there a Souvenir version: Souvenir weapons drop only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin was never in a Major drop.

AK-47 | Predator Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of an already budget skin — the entry-level way to run the Predator design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want a striped AK for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Predator still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the green-and-black zebra stripes keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look entirely, and the busy pattern helps the skin stay identifiable.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Predator look as trashed as some other skins?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy stripe pattern that breaks up the damage, the Predator stays more legible at Battle-Scarred than many solid-colored skins do.

Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Predator?

Its green-and-black palette suits an earthy, tactical loadout, so green, olive, or black gloves fit best — a green pair echoes the stripes, while black wraps keep the rugged, camo-style vibe. It pairs naturally with other green or military-themed skins for a matching kit.
