AK-47 | Predator (Field-Tested)
The AK-47 | Predator (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin finished in a green-and-black zebra-stripe spray pattern. Field-Tested is the classic, most common way to own it — a bit of honest wear on a striped design that carries it well, at a rock-bottom price.
Design
Spray-painted in a green-and-black zebra, or tiger-stripe, pattern, Predator gives the AK-47 a rugged, almost camo-like appearance. It's a Valve creation and one of the oldest AK-47 skins around, relying on a plain striped print rather than busy graphics or decals for its look.
AK-47 | Predator (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish picks up light scratching along the edges and the magazine, but the busy green-and-black stripes help disguise it, so most copies still look presentable at a glance. This is the grade most players end up with, and it's the sweet spot between a tidy look and the lowest possible cost for the finish.
AK-47 | Predator Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier that sits near the bottom of the standard weapon grades, just above Consumer Grade. It's a common grade to pull, and that commonness is a big part of why the Predator stays so cheap.
AK-47 | Predator Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Predator comes from The Dust Collection, one of the original collections that arrived with the Arms Deal update on August 14, 2013. As one of the earliest AK-47 finishes in the game, it's been circulating for over a decade, and its long history alongside a low rarity keeps supply plentiful on the market.
AK-47 | Predator Patterns
The Predator doesn't have meaningful random pattern variation — the green-and-black zebra stripes fall the same way on essentially every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float are the only things that tell one Predator apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is no StatTrak Predator; the finish was never released with a StatTrak kill counter, so a confirmed-kill version simply isn't out there. A Souvenir version doesn't exist either — Souvenir weapons only issue from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin was never part of a Major drop.
AK-47 | Predator Price
Field-Tested is one of the cheapest ways to run an AK-47 skin at all — a genuine budget buy that still looks decent thanks to the wear-hiding stripe pattern. If you want a personalized AK without denting your wallet, this is about as low as it goes for a presentable copy. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Predator look worn?
Only a little. The green-and-black stripe pattern is busy enough to mask light scratches, so a Field-Tested copy reads as reasonably clean to most eyes, with wear showing mainly on the edges and magazine up close. For a budget AK it holds up well in-game.
Is Field-Tested the cheapest good-looking AK-47 | Predator?
Pretty much. It's noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New but still looks tidy thanks to the pattern hiding wear. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost even less if price is all that matters, but they show heavier scuffing on the stripes.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Predator?
Its green-and-black palette suits an earthy, tactical loadout, so green, olive, or black gloves fit best — a green pair echoes the stripes, while black wraps keep the rugged, camo-style vibe. It pairs naturally with other green or military-themed skins for a matching kit.
