The AK-47 | Safety Net (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted rifle skin with a high-visibility orange-and-silver mesh over a white base, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the safety-net design, trading a fresh look for the lowest entry price.

Design

This is a Valve-made finish that lays a high-visibility orange-and-silver net pattern across a white base, turning the rifle into something that looks like a safety net stretched over it. It ships with an on-theme in-game line: "Your loadout; now with high visibility."

AK-47 | Safety Net (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the white base makes every mark obvious. This finish is capped at 0.60, so it never reaches the extreme end of the float scale, which keeps the orange-and-silver mesh readable even here. If you want the pattern at the lowest cost, the wear is the trade-off.

AK-47 | Safety Net Rarity

Restricted is the rarity here — the purple band that sits between Mil-Spec underneath and Classified overhead in the usual weapon grades. It ranks above the plentiful blue finishes yet isn't one of the rarest drops.

Is the Battle-Scarred grade still recognizable?

Yes. Despite heavy scuffing that the white base shows off, the bold orange-and-silver mesh keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the safety-net look entirely.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Safety Net reach the roughest wear?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.60 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme end of the scale. The white base still makes the damage plain, but the mesh pattern stays legible, so the skin reads as Safety Net even at its most worn.
