AK-47 | Safety Net (Well-Worn)
The AK-47 | Safety Net (Well-Worn) is a Restricted rifle skin with a high-visibility orange-and-silver mesh over a white base, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into the safety-net look, with wear that the light base shows off plainly.
Design
Orange-and-silver mesh laid over a white base gives Safety Net its look, so the gun reads like a literal safety net wrapped around the body. The design comes from Valve, and it carries a fitting in-game quip: "Your loadout; now with high visibility."
AK-47 | Safety Net (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows heavy scuffing and paint loss across the magazine, receiver, and edges, and the white base makes all of it stand out rather than hide it. The orange-and-silver mesh still anchors the design, but there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. For players who care about price over polish, this grade delivers the same recognizable pattern for less.
AK-47 | Safety Net Rarity
Its grade is Restricted, the purple tier of the standard weapon rarities, positioned above Mil-Spec and beneath Classified. That makes it a notch rarer than the common blue skins but well short of the top-end pulls.
AK-47 | Safety Net Case and Collection
The collection behind this skin is The 2018 Inferno Collection. As a Restricted drop, Safety Net shows up around 15.98% of the time from the collection's Souvenir packages, which debuted with the London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package. The bulk of copies circulate on the market rather than coming straight from a package.
AK-47 | Safety Net Patterns
This skin carries a fixed design — the orange-and-silver mesh appears the same on all copies, with no random pattern variation, no paint seed, and no "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float alone distinguish one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak Safety Net is made, because StatTrak variants originate in weapon cases and this finish instead comes out of Major-tournament Souvenir packages, not a StatTrak-enabled case. A Souvenir version does exist: with Souvenir weapons only ever issued from Major-tournament packages, and Safety Net having appeared in the Inferno Souvenir packages from London 2018 on, a genuine Souvenir copy is obtainable and typically commands a premium.
AK-47 | Safety Net Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the Safety Net ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. With the finish already an affordable mid-tier pick, this is one of the cheaper ways to get the high-vis AK into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn grade actually look?
Noticeably, and more so than on a dark skin. The white base puts scratches and paint thinning on full display across the magazine and edges, past Field-Tested levels but short of Battle-Scarred. The orange-and-silver mesh keeps it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Safety Net, just visibly used.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Because the white base shows wear openly, Field-Tested looks a good deal cleaner for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Safety Net design as cheaply as possible without going all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Safety Net?
Its orange-and-white, high-visibility palette suits a bright, tactical loadout, so orange, white, or hazard-style gloves work best — an orange pair picks up the mesh, while white or light wraps keep the high-vis look. Pair it with other orange or safety-themed pieces to lean into the theme.
