AK-47 | The Oligarch (Field-Tested)

AK-47 | The Oligarch (Field-Tested)

The AK-47 | The Oligarch (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin custom-painted to look like a luxury white-and-black puffer jacket with gold accents, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most accessible mid-grade way to own it, and it still shows off its designer look for less than the cleaner exteriors.

Design

Custom-painted to echo a high-end white-and-black puffer jacket with gold accents, the Oligarch is a fashion-forward take on the AK that trades military grit for designer flash. It's a community creation from the artist Strenson — also responsible for the AWP | Chrome Cannon and M4A4 | Spider Lily — and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Seek power, gain power, hold power."

AK-47 | The Oligarch (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the Oligarch picks up visible scuffing on the white panels and along the edges, where a pale base tends to show wear more openly than a dark one. The gold accents still stand out and keep the skin recognizable, and at in-game distance it reads clearly as the Oligarch. This is the grade where the designer look meets a friendlier price.

AK-47 | The Oligarch Rarity

Its rarity is Covert, the red tier crowning the standard weapon-rarity grades. Because a Covert is the scarcest standard-grade outcome from any source, these skins carry the prices they do.

AK-47 | The Oligarch Case and Collection

Part of The Genesis Collection, the Oligarch drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. The Covert tier overall lands about 0.64% of the time, making it the rarest weapon result from that source; supply stays tight, and the bulk of copies change hands on the market rather than being pulled fresh.

AK-47 | The Oligarch Patterns

Across every pattern index the Oligarch looks the same; the puffer-jacket finish and gold accents sit identically on each copy, leaving no paint seed and no "blue gem" to hunt. Only wear and float separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak Oligarch — the counter appears only on skins whose source makes a StatTrak variant, which this one doesn't. Nor is there a Souvenir edition, since Souvenir weapons only ever come from Major-tournament souvenir packages and The Genesis Collection has never been a Major drop.

AK-47 | The Oligarch Price

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the Oligarch price ladder — below the near-clean Minimal Wear but above the more heavily worn grades. It's the value-minded way into a premium Covert AK, keeping the standout design while trimming the cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Oligarch look worn?

Some, yes. Because the base is light, Field-Tested shows scuffing on the white panels and edges more openly than a dark skin would. That said, the gold accents keep the design bold and recognizable, and at normal in-game distance it still reads as a clean, high-class AK.

Is Field-Tested a good value for the Oligarch?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear while keeping the full designer look, so it's the sweet spot for players who want a Covert Oligarch without paying for a near-pristine grade. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you don't mind heavier wear on the pale finish.

Why does wear show more on the Oligarch than on darker AKs?

The white-and-black puffer-jacket base is a pale finish, and pale surfaces reveal scratches and paint loss more plainly than dark carbon-style skins. That's why grade matters more here than on something like a black-based AK — cleaner exteriors keep the designer look intact and carry a clear premium.
