AK-47 | Vulcan (Battle-Scarred)
The AK-47 | Vulcan (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin with a sleek, sports-inspired finish in blue, white, and gunmetal black, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a grail-tier AK design, trading a pristine surface for the lowest entry price on the skin.
Design
Vulcan is a sleek, sports-inspired finish — a gunmetal-black body wrapped in bold blue and white panels, defined by precise geometry instead of busy graphics. Community artist jim´s built the motif around mechanical, industrial cues finished with a modern, almost racing-livery style, and the outcome ranks among the sleekest AK looks in the game.
AK-47 | Vulcan (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the skin wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, with the white panels dulled and the finish worn thin in places. The blue shapes survive as the anchor that keeps the skin recognizable. This finish is float-capped at 0.90, so it never reaches the extreme end of the wear scale, and the design stays legible even at its roughest.
AK-47 | Vulcan Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier that tops the standard weapon grades above Classified. Covert drops are some of the rarest a case can hand out, and that scarcity underpins a good deal of the Vulcan's reputation.
AK-47 | Vulcan Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Vulcan comes from The Huntsman Collection and is pulled from the Huntsman Weapon Case, released with the "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. About 0.64% of that case's drops land on the Covert tier, and with the Huntsman Case long gone from the active drop pool, its supply is fixed — trading, not unboxing, is how most copies move now.
AK-47 | Vulcan Patterns
The AK-47 | Vulcan has no random pattern variation to speak of — the blue-and-white layout is fixed identically across every copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. That makes wear and float the only distinguishing factors, so buying is simple: choose a condition and what you see is what you get.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ AK-47 | Vulcan exists, bringing a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard skin, and its permanent counter follows the item through any trade or sale. What doesn't exist is a Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons appear solely in Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Huntsman Collection has never been a Major drop.
AK-47 | Vulcan Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the Vulcan design for players who care more about the look than the condition. It's still a high-end AK, since even a worn Vulcan is a Covert from a discontinued case, but this is the lowest-cost route into the finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Vulcan still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and dulled white panels, the bold blue shapes keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on a grail-tier AK, not losing the Vulcan look entirely — it still stands out on the server.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred reach maximum wear?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.90 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme end of the scale. The white areas take the most visible damage, but the blue paneling and gunmetal body keep the Vulcan legible even in this roughest available condition.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Vulcan?
Its blue-and-white palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue, white, or gray gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the panels while white or gray wraps keep the cool, sporty vibe. Pairing it with other blue or gunmetal skins pulls the whole loadout into a tight, coordinated look.
