AUG | Daedalus (Battle-Scarred)

AUG | Daedalus (Battle-Scarred)

The AUG | Daedalus (Battle-Scarred) is a Consumer Grade rifle skin with a stenciled isometric labyrinth spray-painted across the body, in its roughest available state. It's the cheapest way to own this finish's geometric maze look.

Design

Daedalus keeps its look built around a stenciled isometric labyrinth across the AUG's surface, a geometric maze pattern tied to its mythological name. This Valve-made finish carries the flavor line: "Imogen... if they ever find out what you did, it may cost us everything - A Family Affair Part 1."

AUG | Daedalus (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Float on the Daedalus tops out at 0.55 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred — the finish's most worn grade — stops short of the heaviest wear possible on an uncapped skin. Expect deep scuffing and faded stencil lines across the panels, with the labyrinth shape still visible if roughened up.

AUG | Daedalus Rarity

This is a Consumer Grade finish, the white and most common tier on the standard rarity ladder — about as easy a rarity grade as the game offers.

AUG | Daedalus Case and Collection

The Daedalus is part of The Gods and Monsters Collection, released in May 2015 with Operation Bloodhound, and was never tied to a weapon case — copies come from the collection's own drop pool or the market.

AUG | Daedalus Patterns

No random pattern roll applies to the Daedalus — every copy shows the same labyrinth stencil, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to search for. Wear and float are all that distinguish copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak version and no Souvenir version were ever made for the Daedalus. Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never appeared in one.

AUG | Daedalus Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Daedalus's ladder, the entry point for players who want the labyrinth look for the least money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Battle-Scarred still recognizable as the Daedalus?

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing, the labyrinth stencil's geometric shape stays distinct enough to read clearly in-game. Because the finish's float caps at 0.55, this grade isn't as extreme as Battle-Scarred on a skin with the full 0–1 float range.

Why is Battle-Scarred the cheapest Daedalus grade?

It's the most worn condition available, with the most visible scuffing and faded stencil lines, so it consistently prices below the other four grades. It's the natural budget entry point into this finish.

Is the Daedalus worth buying at Battle-Scarred?

If you just want the labyrinth design on your AUG for as little as possible, yes — the pattern stays legible even worn, and the finish is already an affordable pick regardless of which grade you choose.
