AWP | Atheris (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Atheris (Well-Worn) is a Restricted sniper skin with a green-and-blue bush viper over a black body, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper way into an eye-catching AWP finish, with wear the dark base still partly disguises.
Design
At its core the finish is a green-and-blue bush viper hand-painted onto a black frame — a reptilian design built on the contrast between the bright coil and the cold base rather than on clutter. It's a community submission from the artist Graff, and it carries a fitting caption: "As deadly as it is beautiful."
AWP | Atheris (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body and around the scope, though the dark base still absorbs some of it. The viper stays the anchor that keeps the skin readable, but there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, it delivers the recognizable snake for less.
AWP | Atheris Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — a mid-ladder grade that sits directly above Mil-Spec and one step under Classified. Pulling one is more likely than landing a top-tier skin, but it still ranks above the case's common blue drops.
AWP | Atheris Case and Collection
Released on March 13, 2019, the Prisma Case is where Atheris drops, as part of The Prisma Collection. Its Restricted grade shares the roughly 16% purple-tier drop chance across the case's Restricted skins, with the odds attached to the tier rather than this specific finish — a fairly attainable pull, though most copies trade on the market rather than coming straight from a case.
AWP | Atheris Patterns
No random pattern variation applies to Atheris — the bush viper appears the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to chase. That leaves wear and float as the only differences between units.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition is available — it carries a confirmed-kill counter and drops more rarely and at a higher price from the Prisma Case, with the tally tracking kills permanently as the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version, as Souvenir weapons are handed out solely through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Prisma Case was never part of a Major drop.
AWP | Atheris Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get the snake look into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn copy look?
Fairly rough. Expect obvious scratches and paint thinning across the body and scope — more than Field-Tested but short of the full battering of Battle-Scarred. The black base takes the edge off some of it, and the green-and-blue viper keeps the skin recognizable, so it still reads as Atheris on the server.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price leads your decision. Field-Tested looks distinctly tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the snake design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Can I get Atheris from a trade-up?
Potentially. As a Restricted it can be produced by a trade-up contract using ten Mil-Spec skins from The Prisma Collection, so it isn't tied to opening the case alone. In practice, though, buying a specific wear on the market is cheaper and more predictable than gambling on a contract landing this exact finish.
