AWP | Atheris (Factory New)
The AWP | Atheris (Factory New) is a Restricted sniper rifle skin with a green-and-blue bush viper coiled across a black body. Factory New is the top grade, showing the snake's colors at their most saturated with no surface wear on the dark base.
Design
Atheris hand-paints a green-and-blue bush viper wrapping around a black frame, a reptilian motif that leans on the contrast between the cold dark base and the snake's bright scales. It's a community design by the artist Graff, and it carries a fitting caption: "As deadly as it is beautiful."
AWP | Atheris (Factory New) Float and Wear
This finish runs a float range of 0.00–1.00. Factory New is the cleanest condition the finish reaches, and here the black base stays untouched while the viper's greens and blues sit at full saturation. Even so, the dark body would mask light scuffing on lower grades, so the visual gap between this and Minimal Wear is smaller than on a pale skin. For a collector who wants the snake exactly as painted, this is the grade to reach for.
AWP | Atheris Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, sitting one step above Mil-Spec and directly below Classified in the standard weapon-skin ladder. It's a mid-table grade that's more common to pull than the pink and red tiers but scarcer than the blue Mil-Spec skins.
AWP | Atheris Case and Collection
Atheris belongs to The Prisma Collection and drops from the Prisma Case, released on March 13, 2019. The Restricted tier as a whole unboxes roughly 16% of the time (a rate shared across the tier's skins, not carried by this one finish), so while it's far from the rarest pull, most copies still change hands on the market rather than coming straight out of a case.
AWP | Atheris Patterns
Atheris has no random pattern variation — the bush viper is painted the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to chase. Wear and float are the only things that separate one unit from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version exists — it adds a confirmed-kill counter and comes as a rarer, pricier drop from the Prisma Case, with the counter tracking kills permanently as the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition: Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Prisma Case was never part of a Major drop.

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?
It depends on how much a flawless surface matters to you. Factory New shows the viper's colors at their brightest, but because the base is black it hides light wear well, so a Minimal Wear copy looks close for less. Pay up if you want the finish at its most saturated; otherwise the grade below is the smarter value.
Who designed the Atheris?
It's a community submission by the artist Graff, built around a green-and-blue bush viper wrapped over a black frame. The reptilian theme and its caption — "As deadly as it is beautiful" — give it a distinct identity among the Prisma Collection skins rather than the abstract or camo looks that fill much of the AWP lineup.
Which gloves go with Atheris?
