AWP | Capillary (Field-Tested)
The AWP | Capillary (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec sniper rifle skin with teal and coral veins branching across the body like capillaries, here showing honest, moderate wear. It's the most common and most affordable way to own the finish, with the vein pattern still clearly readable through the light scuffing.
Design
Behind the wear sits M03H's design: an organic, capillary-inspired motif of teal and coral lines that spread and fork across the AWP's frame. The overall tone is cool and blue with warm coral accents running through it — a biological, abstract look that feels different from the rifle's more familiar creature and camo finishes.
AWP | Capillary (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Given the 0.05 to 0.70 float range, Field-Tested lands in the busy middle. Expect visible scratching along the barrel, rail, and scope housing, with the teal slightly muted compared to the higher grades. The coral veins still carry the design, though, so this exterior reads clearly as Capillary at a glance — it's the grade most buyers actually run.
AWP | Capillary Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier. It sits one rung above Industrial and one below Restricted on the standard cosmetic scale, and as the grade you unbox most frequently, it keeps skins like this one squarely in affordable territory.
AWP | Capillary Case and Collection
Part of The Prisma 2 Collection, this finish comes out of the Prisma 2 Case that arrived on March 31, 2020. The bulk of any case's drops fall in the Mil-Spec tier — about 80% of pulls, a share divided among all the tier's skins — which is why blue-grade finishes such as this are the routine result of opening the case.
AWP | Capillary Patterns
The teal-and-coral veins are fixed in place from copy to copy, meaning the finish has no random pattern variation and nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float are the only variables that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ Capillary, which adds a counter that tallies your confirmed kills; it's scarcer and costs more than the standard skin, and the tally is permanent, following the item through trades and sales alike. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons are handed out only via Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Prisma 2 Case was never one of those.
AWP | Capillary Price
Field-Tested is the value entry point most players land on — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the pattern perfectly recognizable. It's also the easiest wear to find on the market. Since Capillary is a budget AWP to begin with, Field-Tested makes an already cheap finish about as accessible as it gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Capillary look worn?
A little. You'll see scratching on the barrel, rail, and scope area, and the teal is slightly dulled next to the higher grades. But the coral vein network holds up regardless of float, so the skin still reads clearly as Capillary in-game. For most players the trade of minor wear for a lower price is an easy call.
Is Field-Tested the best value wear for Capillary?
For most buyers, yes. It's the most common exterior and the cheapest that still keeps the pattern sharp enough to enjoy, so it hits the balance of looks and cost that the majority want. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still if squeezing out the last bit of price matters more than surface condition.
Is Capillary too flashy for competitive play?
Not really. The teal-and-coral veins are eye-catching up close but read as a muted, cool-toned skin at range, so it won't distract during a match. It gives your AWP a bit of personality without the glare of a bright neon finish, which makes it a comfortable everyday pick.
