AWP | CMYK (Well-Worn)
The AWP | CMYK (Well-Worn) is a Covert sniper skin wearing its white-based, multicolored abstract print in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into a striking graphic-design AWP, though the pale canvas makes the wear at this grade harder to overlook.
Design
Valve built CMYK around graphic design and color theory: a plain white base carries a busy abstract composition assembled from the four process colors — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black — the same inks a printer layers to reach every other shade. The finish even ships with an in-game line that plays to its artistic streak: "I knew you'd return; I just didn't expect it to be so soon..."
AWP | CMYK (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges, and on a white base that damage is far more obvious than it would be on a dark skin — the surface starts to look grimy rather than gallery-fresh. The abstract print stays legible thanks to its density and color, but there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. For players who care more about the price than the surface, it still delivers the recognizable look for a lot less.
AWP | CMYK Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red tier, sitting at the top of the standard weapon grades and one rung above Classified. It's the highest rarity the AWP offers as standard, and a genuinely uncommon thing to obtain.
AWP | CMYK Case and Collection
Part of The Graphic Design Collection, CMYK is a Covert — the rarest of the standard tiers — so it lands only around 0.64% of the time. That thin drop rate keeps supply fixed and steers buyers toward the market, where almost every copy ends up trading.
AWP | CMYK Patterns
Every CMYK is printed the same — the design has no random pattern roll, so there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float distinguish one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak CMYK was never produced: the counter is generated only through weapon-case unboxings, and this finish never received one. The same absence applies to Souvenir, but for its own mechanism — Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never been part of a Major drop.
AWP | CMYK Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — the more affordable way into a high-end AWP for players who won't stretch to a higher grade. It's one of the cheaper routes to a genuine CMYK in your loadout, even if grail-tier demand keeps it from ever being truly cheap. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn CMYK look?
Noticeably — and more so than on most skins, because the white base hides nothing. Expect visible scratches and dulled, grimy patches across the body and edges, more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The colorful abstract print stays recognizable, so it still reads clearly as CMYK, just with obvious signs of use.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is the priority. Field-Tested keeps the white base looking cleaner and the print bolder for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it — especially since the pale canvas makes wear stand out. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without dropping to Battle-Scarred.
Do the colors hold up at Well-Worn?
Partly. The printed cyan, magenta, and yellow don't literally fade, but heavier scuffing and grime on the white base make the palette look duller and patchier than in the higher grades. The core artwork stays readable, which is why the design survives this grade — even if the surface around it clearly does not.
