AWP | Electric Hive (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Electric Hive (Well-Worn) is a Classified sniper skin with a blue hexagonal hive pattern and an electric look, here in a more battle-worn state. It's the cheapest way into this older AWP finish, with scuffing the busy honeycomb still partly disguises.
Design
Electric Hive keeps to one idea: a hexagonal honeycomb wrapped over the AWP as a hydrographic, carried by blue tones and an electric, energetic styling. The hive lattice runs across the whole body, and it's a Valve in-house paint job from an earlier stretch of the game rather than a community Workshop design.
AWP | Electric Hive (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the edges and high points, where the honeycomb thins out. The hexagon lattice still holds as the standout feature, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade. This finish is float-capped at 0.40, so even Well-Worn copies stop short of the roughest end of the scale, keeping the design legible.
AWP | Electric Hive Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
AWP | Electric Hive Case and Collection
The Electric Hive sits in The eSports 2013 Winter Collection and is unboxed from the eSports 2013 Winter Case, released together with the Winter Offensive update on December 18, 2013. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because this old case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from now.
AWP | Electric Hive Patterns
Because the hexagon honeycomb is a printed hydrographic that sits the same way on every Electric Hive, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or blue gem to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ AWP | Electric Hive, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop from the same eSports 2013 Winter Case, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never featured in one.
AWP | Electric Hive Price
Well-Worn sits at the bottom of the Electric Hive ladder as the cheapest grade available on this finish — a budget route to the hive design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. If you want this affordable mid-tier AWP for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Electric Hive look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning around the edges and high points — more than Field-Tested, but this finish is capped at a 0.40 float, so it never reaches the heavy battering a full Battle-Scarred grade would show. The busy honeycomb keeps it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Electric Hive.
Why is there no Battle-Scarred Electric Hive?
The finish is float-capped at 0.40, and the game never rolls a copy above that. Battle-Scarred needs a float over 0.45, so it simply can't exist on this skin — Well-Worn is the most worn grade the finish reaches, and it's the lowest-priced condition on the ladder.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your top priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Electric Hive design as cheaply as possible and don't mind the extra scuffing showing on the surface.
