AWP | Exoskeleton (Factory New)
The AWP | Exoskeleton (Factory New) is a Restricted sniper rifle skin with a dark gray metal body engraved with an intricate lattice of interlocking bones and skulls. Factory New is the top grade, showing that macabre engraving at its most legible with no surface wear on the gray-blue metal.
Design
Exoskeleton presses a dense, ornamental engraving of interlocking bones and skulls into a dark gray, gray-blue metal body, with the receiver built around a single engraved skull of some unknown creature. The look is almost entirely grayscale and deliberately macabre, leaning on the depth of the carving rather than color. It's a community design by the artist Rozzy, and it carries a fitting caption: "Full tilt."
AWP | Exoskeleton (Factory New) Float and Wear
This finish runs a float range of 0.00–1.00. Factory New is the highest condition the finish reaches, and here the metal body stays unmarked while the fine bone-and-skull carving reads at its most defined. Because the finish is one continuous gray metal, later grades hide light scuffing fairly well, so the real gain at this level is engraving legibility rather than a dramatic color pop. For a collector who wants every carved rib and eye socket to stand out, this is the grade to reach for.
AWP | Exoskeleton Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, one rung above Mil-Spec and directly below Classified in the standard weapon-skin ladder. It's a mid-table grade, more common to pull than the pink and red tiers yet scarcer than the blue Mil-Spec skins that share its case.
AWP | Exoskeleton Case and Collection
Exoskeleton belongs to The Operation Broken Fang Collection and drops from the Operation Broken Fang Case, released with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. The Restricted tier as a whole unboxes about 16% of the time (a rate shared across the tier's skins, not carried by this one finish), so while it's not a rare pull, plenty of copies still change hands on the market rather than coming straight from a case.
AWP | Exoskeleton Patterns
Exoskeleton has no random pattern variation — the bone-and-skull engraving is laid out the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to chase. Wear and float are the only things that set one unit apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version exists — it adds a confirmed-kill counter and arrives as a rarer, pricier drop from the Operation Broken Fang Case, with the counter tracking kills permanently as the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition: Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Broken Fang Collection was never part of a Major drop.
AWP | Exoskeleton Price
Factory New sits at the top of the skin's own price ladder as the highest grade available — the most you'll pay for this finish, though as one of the more budget-friendly AWP skins it stays a long way short of grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?
It depends on how much the carved detail matters to you. Factory New shows the bone-and-skull engraving at its most legible, but because the body is a single gray metal it hides light wear well, so a Minimal Wear copy looks close for less. Pay up if you want the ornament fully defined; otherwise the grade below is the smarter value.
Who designed the Exoskeleton?
It's a community submission by the artist Rozzy, built around an engraved lattice of interlocking bones and skulls on a gray metal body, with a lone creature skull centered on the receiver. The grim, almost gothic theme — plus its caption, "Full tilt" — gives it a distinct identity among the Broken Fang skins rather than the camo or abstract looks common on the AWP.
Which gloves go with the Exoskeleton?
Its grayscale, macabre body suits a dark, muted loadout, so gray, black, or bone-toned gloves land best — a gray or off-white pair echoes the carved bones, while black wraps keep the skin's engraving the loudest thing on show. Steer clear of bright colors, which fight the finish's stripped-back monochrome mood.
