AWP | Hyper Beast (Minimal Wear)

AWP | Hyper Beast (Minimal Wear)

The AWP | Hyper Beast (Minimal Wear) is a Covert sniper skin covered in a riot of neon color and a snarling beast motif. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork looking almost untouched while asking less than the top grade.

Design

A full-coverage custom finish, Hyper Beast paints a snarling, psychedelic creature across the AWP in loud neon, with its bared teeth and lolling tongue rendered in vivid detail. The artwork comes from the community designer Brock Hofer, and an in-game line adds a wink to it — "You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive" (Rona Sabri, Rising Star).

AWP | Hyper Beast (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

At Minimal Wear the finish carries only the faintest surface wear, mostly on the raised edges, and the busy multi-color artwork hides what little there is with ease. The neon tones stay bright and the creature's detail is still easy to make out — a near-flawless look for well under Factory New money.

AWP | Hyper Beast Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier that tops the standard weapon-skin ladder, one step above Classified. Because Covert finishes are the scarcest pull a case offers, they tend to carry the highest prices.

AWP | Hyper Beast Case and Collection

Part of The Falchion Collection, Hyper Beast comes out of the Falchion Case, which launched alongside Operation Bloodhound in May 2015. Its Covert grade is the rarest tier the case holds, hitting about 0.64% of openings (a rate the case's Covert skins share), and since the Falchion Case has long since left the active drop pool, supply is capped — these days most copies move on the market instead of being unboxed.

AWP | Hyper Beast Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on Hyper Beast — the creature is printed identically on each copy, so no paint seed, blue gem, or phase exists to hunt for. The only real differences between copies come down to wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Hyper Beast does exist, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, costlier pull from the same Falchion Case, and the tally is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons only come out of Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never featured in a Major drop.

AWP | Hyper Beast Price

Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the ladder — a high grade that trims the cost while keeping nearly the same vivid look, which makes it a favorite among buyers who want condition and value both. It's still a premium AWP finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Minimal Wear look?

Barely at all. Expect only slight scuffing on the highest edges, and the dense neon artwork masks it so effectively that most copies read as good as new from a normal distance. The beast's colors stay fully bright, so the skin's signature look is completely intact at this grade.

Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?

For many buyers, yes. It looks almost indistinguishable from Factory New because the crowded artwork hides light wear, yet it costs meaningfully less. If you want the design as close to pristine as possible without paying the top-grade premium, this is the sweet spot on the ladder.

Does the neon fade at Minimal Wear?

No. Float affects surface scratching, not the printed colors, so the neon stays exactly as saturated as it is at Factory New. What separates the grades is edge wear, and at Minimal Wear there's very little of it — the beast keeps its full, glowing presence.
