AWP | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn) is a Covert sniper skin wearing its wild neon beast in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into one of CS2's most eye-catching AWP finishes, with wear the busy artwork still partly masks.
Design
Brock Hofer's community design covers the AWP end to end with a wild neon creature: a snarling beast whose bared teeth and lolling tongue are picked out in loud, psychedelic color. The finish even ships with a playful in-game line — "You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive" (Rona Sabri, Rising Star).
AWP | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges, where the colors start to dull and break up. The beast artwork stays legible thanks to its sheer density and contrast, but there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. For players who care more about the price than a perfect surface, it delivers the recognizable look for a lot less.
AWP | Hyper Beast Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the top, red-colored grade of standard weapon skins, ranking above Classified. As the least common pull from any case, Covert finishes naturally sit at the pricier end of the market.
AWP | Hyper Beast Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Falchion Collection and drops from the Falchion Case, a case that arrived with Operation Bloodhound in May 2015. As a Covert it occupies the case's rarest tier, appearing around 0.64% of the time (a figure the case's Covert skins split between them); the Falchion Case is no longer in the active drop pool, so with supply locked, most examples change hands on the market rather than coming from openings.
AWP | Hyper Beast Patterns
Every Hyper Beast is printed the same — the design has no random pattern variation, so there's nothing like a paint seed, blue gem, or phase to seek out. Only wear and float distinguish one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
The Falchion Case can also yield a StatTrak™ Hyper Beast — a rarer, pricier variant with a confirmed-kill counter that logs kills permanently and stays intact across trades and sales. What you won't find is a Souvenir version: Souvenir weapons are handed out solely via Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never in that program.
AWP | Hyper Beast Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to a Covert AWP for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get a genuine Hyper Beast into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Hyper Beast look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and dulled, patchy color across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The beast is dense enough to stay recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Hyper Beast in-game, just with obvious signs of use up close.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested keeps the neon looking bolder for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want a real Covert Hyper Beast as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does the color hold up at Well-Worn?
Partly. The printed neon doesn't literally fade, but heavier surface scuffing and paint thinning make the palette look duller and more broken up than in the higher grades. The core artwork — the teeth, tongue, and creature shape — stays readable, which is why the skin survives this grade better than plainer finishes would.
