The AWP | Medusa (Factory New) is a Covert sniper rifle skin famed as one of CS2's true grail pieces — a teal gorgon's head, snakes and all, painted across the AWP. Factory New is the peak grade, where the artwork's color and fine detail come through at their very best.

Design

The Medusa is a Valve-made finish built around one striking image: the severed head of the gorgon Medusa, snakes coiling from her hair, rendered in cool teal and turquoise across the rifle's body. Valve's own line describes it simply — the weapon has been custom painted with the image of a gorgon. It carries a fittingly menacing in-game quote: "If you can see me, you're already dead."

This finish runs a float range of 0.00–1.00. At Factory New the Medusa shows the gorgon artwork exactly as intended — deep teal saturation, sharp snake detail, and no scratching anywhere on the body.
