AWP | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred)
The AWP | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert sniper-rifle skin with a noir comic scene of stylized women in blue and magenta over grayscale, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a distinctive AWP finish, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
Neo-Noir gives the AWP a graphic-novel treatment — stylized women drawn in blue and magenta ink across a muted grayscale backdrop, bounded by thick black outlines that sell the comic-book aesthetic. It's a Workshop design by community artist donschi, and it ships with a fittingly bleak in-game line: "They took comfort in each other's despair."
AWP | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the body, and the gray base is roughest here. The inked figures survive as the anchor that keeps the scene readable. Because the finish is float-capped at 0.50, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the extreme end of the wear scale, so the design stays legible even at its roughest.
AWP | Neo-Noir Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier that tops the standard weapon-skin ladder and outranks Classified pink. Covert skins are among the scarcest finishes a case is able to offer.
AWP | Neo-Noir Case and Collection
Neo-Noir is a Danger Zone Collection skin, unboxed from the Danger Zone Case that shipped with the Danger Zone update in December 2018. The Covert tier as a whole appears only about 0.64% of the time per opening (shared across the tier's skins), and because the copies come from a finite pool of past unboxings, most change hands on the market rather than being pulled fresh.
AWP | Neo-Noir Patterns
The Neo-Noir has no pattern randomness; the artwork occupies the same spot on all copies, so a paint seed or "blue gem" never comes into play. The lone differences between copies are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version is available as well, carrying a permanent confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, pricier drop from the same Danger Zone Case than the standard skin, and the tally persists through every trade or sale. No Souvenir version exists — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Danger Zone Case has never appeared in a Major drop.
AWP | Neo-Noir Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the Neo-Noir design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want this comic-noir AWP for as little as possible, this is the way in, and it's still a premium finish underneath the wear. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Neo-Noir still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the bold inked figures and blue-magenta palette keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear on the surrounding surface in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the artwork that makes the finish worth owning.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Neo-Noir look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.50 rather than the full scale, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy inked design that draws the eye away from scuffed areas, the Neo-Noir stays more legible here than many lighter, plainer skins do at the same grade.
Which gloves go with the Neo-Noir?
Its blue-and-magenta palette over gray suits a cool, moody loadout. Blue or purple gloves echo the inks directly, while black or gray wraps lean into the grayscale noir backdrop for a more understated match. Pair it with other cool-toned blues in your inventory and the whole setup ties together nicely.
