AWP | PAW (Well-Worn)
The AWP | PAW (Well-Worn) is a Restricted AWP skin featuring a cartoon collage of cats, dogs, bears and other animals in a pastel palette, here in a more faded, battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into the design, with wear the bright artwork doesn't hide.
Design
The finish is a bright cartoon panel stretched over the AWP: dogs, cats, bears and other animals rendered in a bold, flat comic style on a base of pastel blue, yellow and pink. It started as a community Workshop submission from the artist TheDanidem, all-in on the playful theme, complete with a tongue-in-cheek line: "Kill rewards paid in scratching posts and tennis balls."
AWP | PAW (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear fading and paint loss across much of the body, and because the artwork is pale and busy, that wear is out in the open — there's no dark base to soften it. The animals are still identifiable and the pastel tones remain, just muted and scuffed. For players who care about the theme more than a spotless surface, this grade delivers the PAW look for less.
AWP | PAW Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It ranks directly below the pink Classified grade and above the blue Mil-Spec grade, landing in the middle of the standard weapon tiers — a moderately uncommon grade to open from a case.
AWP | PAW Case and Collection
Part of The Horizon Collection, PAW drops from the Horizon Case that arrived with the "A New Horizon" update back in August 2018. The Restricted tier unboxes about 15.98% of the time as a group (that odds figure is shared across the tier's skins), and given how many cases have been opened over the years, buyers get most copies from the market.
AWP | PAW Patterns
Because the animal collage is printed the same on every PAW, the finish carries no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are the only things that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ PAW does exist, drawn from the Horizon Case, bringing along a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, costlier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent — it carries over each time the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition, since Souvenir weapons are only ever produced from Major-tournament packages, and the Horizon Case was never a Major giveaway.
AWP | PAW Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of PAW's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget entry to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. Since the finish is already among the more affordable AWP skins, this is a low-cost way in indeed. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn PAW look?
Fairly worn. Expect real fading and paint loss across the pastel panels — more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest grade. The pale artwork doesn't mask damage the way a dark skin does, so the wear is visible, though the cartoon animals stay recognizable enough to read the design in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price is your top priority. Field-Tested keeps the artwork brighter for a fairly small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the PAW theme as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Does wear ruin the artwork on PAW?
Not entirely. The fading dulls the colors and adds scuffing, but the cartoon animals and overall collage stay identifiable even at this grade. If you want the bright pastel art at its liveliest, aim higher — Well-Worn trades some of that vibrancy for a noticeably lower price.
